    Zombies and Sushi

Ok last night I had a nonlucid dream about zombies. I was at my parents house in Sunnyvale, and we were all stationed in different rooms, fighting them off. They were coming pretty slowly, I guess because it's such a small town. Like one or two an hour. I was stationed in my old bedroom with the bay window. I had the curtain up only on the left pane (closest to the front door). I also had that same window open. Reason being, when they came stumbling toward me (quite quickly, may I add), I could impale them immediately. I had the stool from mom's kitchen, painted sky blue instead of brown oddly, and I would jab the zombie with all four legs when they came to the window. Cool thing about this dream, you can stab them anywhere, like a human. Doesn't have to be the head. However, some of the zombies were starting to adapt. They could talk and carry on fairly normal conversations, even with humans. We still knew that they were zombies mind you, it's just that they were getting good at trying to talk their way out of us killing them. So one lady came to my window and was telling me something, I can't remember. I hesitated and she got in the house, as far as the utility room. I knocked her down by the washer and dryer, and stabbed her straight in her heart. She seemed upset by this, as black blood spilled from her chest. I think I would have felt bad about it except I didn't have time. I heard noises from the front door of the house. I ran to the living room, and saw by the front door (which was all glass, with 2 large glass side panes, stupid parents!!) gobs of zombies trying to bust through the stained glass. I froze, realizing I had forgotten my impaling-stool in the utility room! As I could see the zombies growling and pounding and trying to push through the glass, I was oddly rational. I asked myself, "What is the nearest thing to me that could double as a zombie-killer?" Then I looked to my right, toward the livingroom fireplace: FIREPLACE POKERS. 2 sets even. I always wondered why mom insisted on 2 sets, now I know why (or at least, I thought so in the dream. I mean, in real life she always had 2 sets of fireplace tools by each fireplace in our house. In real life I still don't know why, but in the dream, it was like providence. I w2as meant to use them to kill zombies). Anyway, I picked up both pokers, and ran to the kitchen. Only 3 zombies were able to get in, and they followed me into the kitchen. The leader was a male, and he could talk too. He was trying to engage me in a conversation. I started to falter at first; it was hard to kill something that seemed so human and docile. I was getting entranced by the conversation, and I thought of the woman in the laundry room. But the talking zombie said something about my son.. like, some comment he had read from Chris on facebook or something. Then I lost it, I shoved one of the pokers straight into his lifeless heart, twisting it as such to make him buckle to the floor. The other 2 zombies behind him vanished, along with the remaining outside.

The doorbell rang, and I rushed to the front door, expecting more god damn sentient zombies. But it was two older chinese people. They looked worried, because they were looking for their daughter. When they described her, I asked them if they were referring to Elsy, a girl that works in the sushi department where I work. They said yes, that's her. Which is odd in retrospect. because Elsy is Mexican. I told her parents that I would tell her that they were looking for her when I saw her at work the next day.

Weird thing number 1: I was just reading on dreamviews the last 2 days about a post where people were asking if they had ever killed in a lucid dream. I never killed anyone in a lucid or nonlucid until last night.

Weird thing number 2: Elsy is Mexican, in my dream her parents are Chinese, in real life she makes Japanese sushi. Hehe, my crazy head
