    Fragment 2/3 - Legolas' Death and a "Crispy" Dumbledore

    Notes:
    These three fragments are all from one long-ass dream about a war being waged between two sides. I'm not sure what these "sides" were, because the characters and scenarios were so random. I don't remember much of the content that happened between the fragments.

    The entire dream must have been fifteen minutes in length. It's one of the longest non-lucids I've had.

    So many morbid dreams lately! I wonder what's up...

    Anyways, this was the shorter of the three fragments, and probably the weirdest one too! I was in the same location as in my previous dream, Open Heart Medicine, except that it was much darker overall. The colors were paler and more dark-blueish in tone, but some browns were still present in the piles of wood and scattered items. Instead of being at the foot of the one large hill, I was about halfway up it, kind of standing awkwardly on the slope with one knee bent a little. I was looking up at the top of the hill, where the front half of a classic pirate ship was placed; it was facing upwards into the sky at a bit of an angle. It looked like the back end had been blasted off, because there were lots of shards of wood and hanging chains, along with other items, where it was cut off. The dark grey flags and sails were almost non-existent; they were very torn up and looked like they could've just dissolved into the air at the mention of a slight wind.

    To the left of the ship, also on top of the pile, was a single stack of flatter black rocks that was a good ten feet in height; on top was a man; I knew that this was Legolas from Lord of the Rings. I only saw his silhouette though; it was a straight black color with no definition, as if it was a shadow puppet. His hands were on his hips and he was looking at the ship, which was directly to his right, level with him. As soon as I looked at him, the sky changed (although I can't really tell -when- exactly it did so) to a really dark red, which gradated to dark orange, and then a pale darker yellow right behind Legolas.

    I looked to my left and saw a short man, possibly a dwarf but I'm not entirely sure, sitting on the side of the hill not five feet from me. He was wearing a woven Chinese sun hat and had a ginger beard, but I couldn't see his face because of the hat. He was wearing Lord of the Rings-style armor: silver, with some green and pale maroon fabric underneath, complete with some chainmail on the chest and lower arms. He had a long, skinny twig in the side of his mouth, and he chewed it a little bit.

    "Legolas committed suicide," he told me with a very husky, almost garbled voice. "He was too proud to face conquest by the enemy".

    I looked up, and then I saw that Legolas had vanished from the rock stack.

    In a matter of moments, I had forgotten all about Legolas and the short man, and brought my attention back to the ship, but this time I was looking in front of it, on the side of the hill closest to me. There was a cross made from two wider-than-normal planks of wood, and on it was what I believed to be Dumbledore, although he looked more like Gandalf. He was wearing Gandalf the Grey's outfit, with a grey witch's hat on his head. What was so creepy about this, however, was that his eyes were wide open and his mouth made a bit of a gaping expression, and he was burned up with dark skin and yellow teeth. It reminded me of a crucifixion.

    "Why is he so crispy?" I asked myself quietly, suddenly very afraid of my surroundings.
