Notes:
In real life I ordered a Fight Club poster a few days ago, and I'm waiting for it to be delivered. That's obviously where this dream came from.It was daytime, and the sky was filled with wispy white cumulus clouds. I was sitting on the concrete front steps of my house, looking around the block. The deliveryman should be there any minute to drop it off, I thought. As soon as I finished thinking those words, a man in a full-body navy suit came around the corner (there was a high wooden fence in the way) and walked up to me. It looked like he was wearing a janitor's outfit, but it was slightly baggier. He was holding a large square box over his shoulder, and when in close proximity to me, he put it on the ground.
It wasn't sealed, so I kneeled down and opened it up right away, expecting a Fight Club poster to be inside. Instead, I found two separate posters, rolled up so the white sides were facing outwards. I said, "these aren't mine," without even looking to see if even one of them was the one I ordered. "Tell your boss to get the damn order right next time," I added, and kicked the box over to his feet.
