    1. The Train and...

      Dream 1 - The Train

      I was on a train. You know, one of those passenger trains with the multiple cars. It was very cozy yet airy inside, and there were maroon leather seats on either side of the car I was in, almost like a luxury bus. There were also round tables covered with white tablecloths near the back of the car. It had very large windows so people could look outside; these windows made up nearly the entire sides of the car.

      I became lucid almost immediately. I exclaimed out loud and did a little dance because I hadn't been lucid in a few days, and immediately decided to do something (although I wasn't sure what yet). I wanted to exit the train but I knew it was moving, pretty fast too, but I didn't want to go all the way to the conductor and ask them to stop it manually. That would have been silly. So, I punched a large hole in one of the windows (no one was around to witness it) and looked outside for the first time. The train was not on a track, but in the middle of traffic, moving along smoothly with the other cars. There wasn't much traffic though, so I jumped out, landing on my feet in the middle of traffic.

      I looked down the lane and saw a forest-green colored car zooming towards me at around sixty miles an hour, so I leaped on top of it, causing a large dent and feeling the top of the car implode. The car stopped abruptly, as soon as I touched it, but I didn't get thrown off. I then jumped off the car and onto the sidewalk. I tried to do the second jump stylishly but I failed miserably. I had to balance myself a bit, and almost felt pain as my feet contacted the cement sidewalk. I walked it off.

      I spent the rest of the dream flying around because that's one of my favourite things to do.



      Dream 2 - "Why'd you do that?!"

      As soon as the train dream ended, I found myself in my bedroom, all tucked into bed. My room was situated downstairs; I was in a queen bed with mint green covers, a polished dark brown nightstand beside it, and an oak artist's desk in the other corner of my room.

      I was suspicious of this, though, because something felt wierd. I got up a bit, still covered in blankets, and looked at my alarm clock. The first time I looked, it said 1:00. Nothing strange at all. However, I looked back and forth a few more times, because sometimes in dreams my clock tricks me. Caught it.

      The next sequence of numbers was 2:00, 3:00, and then 4:04. I immediately got up and said, "a second lucid dream!?"

      By now I was pretty excited but I knew better than to go around destabilizing the dream. I went out through the door to my room and ran upstairs, towards the front door to get out of the house. Through the window next to the door, between the blinds, I saw that it was dark. But I knew, through expectation, that I could make it light outside. Before disregarding the window, I looked at the door and expected it to be light outside. I turned the doorknob and it was light. Perfect.

      I walked down the driveway and was about to fly away.


      Then my mother woke me up, and I was back in bed. I was sure I was awake, so I asked, "why did you do that? I was in the middle of a lucid dream." A few moments later, I woke up for real.

    2. No-lucidity Dream Control

      I was at a dock. It was an ordinary, wooden dock that actually looked fairly brand-new, and there were a few boats stationed around it, facing out towards a vast sea. I was looking out towards it too, at the end of the dock. Behind me was a large land mass filled with houses and other buildings, and trees. It almost reminded me of Orlando, Florida.

      I wanted to take a boat ride, but all the boats weren't touching the dock, so I couldn't get inside any of them. I looked at one, a white boat with a thin blue stripe going horizontally across it, and pulled it in with my hands, using an invisible rope. I saw its wake as the boat came towards me with surprising speed. I stopped gesturing as if I were holding a rope, and now I gestured randomly with my hand to make it turn, Transformers-style, into a super futuristic boat.

      That didn't work, though; nothing happened.

      I ditched the boat because I had now lost interest, and saw a vehicle parked where the dock began. It almost looked like a Honda Element, but the body was curved and the rear end of the car was box-like. It's difficult to explain. The car had a silver paint job. I looked it up and down and got inside.

      Now I was watching from a third-person perspective. I thought the car looked horrid now, so I looked away and looked back, expecting it to be cooler. It changed a bit and was now more curvy and futuristic, but not quite. I looked away and back again, and it was now really boxy. It had the Hummer logo on the side, and it looked exactly the same as the real thing. But the model was "5", a non-existent number for Hummer.


      It was like this except with the number 5.

      The dream skipped forward and I was now back at the dock, but not on it: I was on a beach, and the dock was situated a few feet away. The water looked crystal clear and I could see dolphins coming up for air. I decided to try diving without a scuba mask, so I imagined I could breathe underwater, and I submerged myself. The water was only a few feet deep, so I didn't get all of myself under. When I was underneath the surface, I could breathe normally. I saw a dolphin looking at me, and it wasn't moving at all. I also couldn't move, myself. I came back up.

    3. The Hills and an Explosion

      I was chasing a group of people who were threatening to blow up our city. They were far from our sight, way down the path I and a friend were traveling along, but we weren't stopping until they were caught. The location was hilly, with green grass and a pale blue sky, dotted with clouds. We were running along a gray path with brownish accents. This went on for miles, we both knew.

      We ran for a few minutes and then, just over the horizon, the group of people we were chasing appeared. My friend, a girl my age who had ginger hair tied up in a ponytail, a few inches taller than me, pulled out a strange-looking gun and began to shoot. We saw three of the people drop dead, but there were still two more. She finished them off easily, too.

      I heard one person shout out before dying, however, and I knew the battle wasn't over. After all, they told us, "this isn't over, we still have our secret weapon." Before we could realize what was happening, a huge shadow loomed over us and we looked up to see a massive ship hovering a few yards above us. It had two red doors on the bottom that were tracking us with red light, following us as we walked back and forth trying to shake them off, and we both knew this wasn't good. We were going to die.

      "Run!" I told my friend who began to bolt down the field, the opposite direction, away from the people who she'd just killed. I followed her. As we ran, I remembered that I had an explosive device in my pocket. Not one that could kill me, though, but the enemy. I pulled it out and it looked like a regular shiny black ball. I stopped, the ship catching up with me in a matter of seconds, and my friend continued to run for a few moments until she realized I was stopped. She turned around and yelled, "what are you doing?!"

      "I'm destroying this ship!" I told her. I took the bomb and looked up, the red lights still tracking me, and realized (somehow) that I had to throw it into the center of the ship where the three blue ovals were. I built up power, as in a video game, for a few moments and then threw it directly where I wanted it to go. It stuck to the ship like a magnet, and I heard beeping. Suddenly, though, one of the red lights opened up. They were doors and lights, I realized.

      Two small, cylindrical bombs began to drop out of the ship, one beside the other. The top half of each bomb was navy blue, and the bottom was white. A strip of silver separated the two colors. They exploded on contact and I died.

      I was now watching myself from third person, above the ground, similar to the distance the ship was from the ground. As the smoke and fire cleared, I saw ashes on the ground where I used to be standing. I felt myself being pulled up towards the sky, so I had to stop looking down, and I began to accelerate faster and faster. My vision became a pale navy and there were tiny streaks of white light going past me swiftly.

      The dream ended.

    4. Kidnapped, Knife Fight, Blood

      I guess one could call this a nightmare, but it didn't quite start out like that.

      I woke up on the top of a bunk bed in a tiny plain hotel room. The flooring was dark, pale blue carpet, and there was a hotel-sized white-paned window on the other side of the room. I caught the false awakening and momentarily became a bit lucid, but it didn't last.

      I got up from the bunk bed and went down the stairs. There was no one else in the room, but there was an open door leading to the main part of the booked hotel room (where the fridge and chairs are). I peered out and knew I wasn't supposed to be here. I saw a man with a black t-shirt and blue jeans sitting at a small round wooden table, drinking from a mug. He looked slightly scuffed up, although not much. He also looked fairly strong, like someone who'd just gotten back from the gym.

      He saw me right away. "Hello," he told me, rather normally. "Don't be shy. Come out and I'll make you some breakfast."

      I decided to play stupid and say, "I have to get dressed first." There must have been a suitcase or something of clothing in the room, because he said, "sure". I went into the room, closing the door, and found a small shopping bag filled to the top with clothes, but I wasn't actually going for them. I was going for anything that could help me escape.

      My gaze flit around the room and I saw a coach purse, exactly like the one I own in real life. It had a very long strap that I could use to climb down the side of the hotel.


      I looked out the hotel window, clutching the purse, and saw that our room was situated at least thirty floors up. The strap didn't even go half the distance to the ground. Crap!

      Suddenly, the man walked into the room and froze when he saw me by the window with the purse. "What are you doing?" he asked me.

      "Getting out of here," I shot back at him. I made a run for the door, went through it, and he didn't do anything to stop me. He pulled out a long, silver knife instead. I looked back as I ran out the door and into the hotel hallway; he was watching me calmly with the knife in his hand. I didn't look back as I ran down the stairs to the lobby.

      There were only one or two sets of stairs and already I was on the first floor...? Anyways, I got there and no one was in sight, but there was a phone at the reception desk. I took it and crazily tried to dial 911. The man suddenly appeared, slipping around the corner and holding the phone box. "You're crazy!" I shouted to him. The machine rang and then a voice answered. "I'm being kidnapped and threatened with a knife!" I told the woman on the other line. "Help me, I'm-"

      I couldn't get an address out, because the man found the phone outlet and unplugged it, then cut the cord with his knife. I gaped and backed away from him rather quickly. "Don't leave," he told me forcefully.

      I took one more step back and my foot landed on a gun. My eyes widened even more (is that even possible?) and I reached down and picked the gun up. It was dark gray, almost black, and heavy. It was loaded. "Back the f*** up!" I told him, looking for the exit. Suddenly he reached into his pocket and pulled out his own gun. I shot him in the chest, killing him instantly. His eyes began to bleed and there were bruises appearing all over his body. He was still standing up straight but his eyes were closed, and he was completely still. Then another person, looking very much like him, appeared with the same ghastly imagery. It frightened me so much I woke up.

    5. Dog, The Illusionary Human

      It began with me simply walking along the sidewalk in the day time. I was in a city area, but not the grungy inner-city sort of area. It was more like a polished, nice area where all the glass business buildings were. I walked past banks and coffee shops, and then a dog ran up to me.

      It was mottled black and brown, with small accents of orange-brown all over its body. It was a cuter version of a golden retriever with longer fur, so it was a bit fluffier, and was about the height of my waist. It came up to me and started licking my hands. I crouched down and petted it, and I could have sworn it nodded to me slightly.

      The dream fast-forwarded and I was in a large room that looked almost like it'd belong to part of a mall, with light speckled tiles and large windows along the walls, leading to other smaller rooms. It looked like this, minus the futuristic wavy stuff and blue tiles in the center, as well as the brand names along the walls.


      There was a circle of chairs, the kind that one would find in a school, each with legs at least ten feet tall. There were a person sitting in each of these chairs, including me. I looked down momentarily and we were quite a ways up, since the chairs' legs were so long. I recognized one of my classmates, a taller, lanky girl with blonde hair. The other was a girl, shorter with messy black and plum hair, and a black hoodie with tighter blue jeans. She went to my school the previous year.

      It was a mental institution (I was one of two caretakers), and I knew this immediately. The girl with the black hair quickly wiped her arm across her nose and looked around, seeming slightly awkward. The blonde girl was sitting in the chair beside me. I got some strange vibe from her, and she kept looking at me and then away again, but not in a creepy manner. I became slightly unnerved and decided to talk to her. "Hello," I said, trying to sound interested, "you're new here. What's your name?"

      She looked away and scoffed minutely. "My name doesn't matter. You know who I am."

      I looked away, raising my eyebrows, and when I looked back I saw the same dog I met earlier in the dream. The girl was gone. I gasped and a few other people sitting in the circle turned their heads. They looked at me, then at the dog, and looked confused. "You can't see what just happened?" I asked them. They nodded their heads back and forth.

      They can't see it.

      I looked back and the girl was there again. "I came here because you're very kind. I want you to be my owner. But don't tell the others... They can't see me."

    6. Can't Kill Me

      I enjoyed this dream, even though I wasn't lucid enough to change the dream plot or really realize I could do anything I wanted. But being invincible sure was enough.

      I was in a house, and a pretty small one at that. I knew it was my house at once, and I lived there with my mother and two(?!) sisters. Okay, so I only should have had one, but this didn't cause lucidity.

      Before I was lucid, and who knows how, but I knew I had special powers. I couldn't be pierced by bullets, and I was really strong.

      I was in a fairly small room at the beginning of the dream. It contained a dark gray mat for shoes that filled up at least half the floor space, and there was a set of stairs reaching down into the basement. Although no one was downstairs, the lights were all on, casting a slightly yellowish glow. I knew that my family was all in my mom's bedroom doing stuff.

      I walked into the next room, the garage which was completely empty, and then turned sharply to the left into a work area. This room was small, and had large pegboards all over the walls. The flooring was bamboo hardwood or something similar, and there was a half-wall diving a part of the room off right when you walk in. I sensed that someone was there as soon as I was about to enter the room, because I heard whispering. I didn't like this, so I charged in and looked straight over the half-wall.

      I saw a gun, held by a pair of hands, directly over the wall.
      I was dreaming.

      "Go on, shoot," I told the man as he slowly got up, still pointing the gun at me. He was black and had longer hair, and was wearing a gray sweater. "You can't kill me, and if you don't get out of this house right now, I might as well make you."

      "Go ahead," he scoffed, totally unbelieving. "Make me."
      He then shot me right in the chest, but nothing happened except a slight recoil. I rolled my eyes. He shot multiple times more, still with no results, and the gun clicked. No more ammunition. "That's what I mean," I told him. "Get out now."

      He had a look of fear in his eyes as he hugged the walls and ran out of the house, through the garage door which happened to be open. I wondered what I'd tell my mom. After all, nothing like this had ever happened before. I got into the bedroom where everyone else was and decided to say nothing, but that was beside the point. I heard someone shuffling around in the backyard.

      I walked out without saying anything to my mom or sisters, and found three men in clown masks, sort of like those in The Dark Knight, except these were thinner and more sculpted to their real faces.


      One of them pulled out a large black gun, looking almost like a rifle, and shot me once. The sound rang out like that a shotgun would make, but once again nothing happened; a bullet didn't even emerge. I ran at him and with barely any effort, took his gun. I turned it on him and asked the others, "anyone else have a gun"?

      They shook their heads minutely.

      "Fine." I took the gun and easily snapped it in half. "I'm going to go inside now, and when I come out, you'd better be gone."

      I went into the bedroom again and my family was still there, now folding clothes up. I went into my mom's polished dark wooden dresser and found a section with only guns. The problem was, these guns looked normal, but instead of ammunition, they needed a battery. "Mom, do you have a battery for this gun?" I asked, holding one up. I seemed to have forgotten the fact that there never should've been guns in the house.

      She handed me a shiny, metallic gray stone-like rectangle that fit properly into the gun. It had tiny holes almost like pumice does. "Thanks".

      I went into the backyard and they were gone.



      I attempted a DEILD but failed.

    7. Unfortunate Timing

      The thing I hate about lucid dreams is that, sometimes, your brain happens to switch on as soon as the dream's ending. Anyways, I was watching the pilot of this intense show called Lie to Me yesterday, so I guess that's where the dream content came from.

      I was in the basement of my house. The lights were made from steel, and they were modern-looking fat cylinders that hung from the ceiling. But the lighting in the room was dim, as if someone had turned the dimmer switch almost all the way down. That was okay though, because I was sitting in one of two brown suede couches, both reclined, watching my mom put a DVD into the player. The television moniter was already on, and it was flashing white light every few seconds. Flash. Flash.

      As soon as she inserted the player, the movie started, but I wasn't interested in watching anything. Instead, I got up and sat behind the couch I was just on. "Mom," I told her, "since you're the one who chose the movie, we've probably seen it way too many times." I picked up a DVD case with a label sort of like this:


      Of course, it wasn't exact and was probably distorted, because it was a dream. I then realized this and gained lucidity, but two seconds later I felt the dream ending. "Crap".

      My DEILD attempt ended in failure.

    8. Sprinting

      It took long enough, but I finally managed to complete my goal to run real fast without destabilizing the dream.

      It started off with me being in a small shack. This building was tiny, probably only five by five feet, and made from strips of wood tiled vertically. There was practically no room to move around in because there were old desks and chairs shoved against the walls. I exited rather quickly to see the outside of the shack. The roof was ready to collapse and looked like it was made from really decayed metal. It sort of looked like the following picture, minus the snow and trees.


      The shack was on the side of a beautiful light gravel road, lodged somewhere in the mountains with many trees, like the picture below.


      However, the trees were curving over the road and blotting out most of the sky. The scenery still looked very pretty though. I spent some time looking around, and even went to one tree right next to the shack to look at an ant... But I gained lucidity, so I stopped wasting my time looking at bugs. I remembered my dream goal almost immediately. "I should try running again," I said out loud. I'd already failed once, so I was itching to complete this goal. "There's a good pathway... this might help me."

      I broke into a light sprint and the trees began to tremble slightly; a few small leaves were falling off them. I leaned forward more and imagined myself rocketing forward. It worked, and I was now going very, very fast. To be safe, I didn't even consider the fact that the dream could destabilize, even though the imagery around me was becoming stretched like taffy. I stopped, closed my eyes for a second, and opened them.
      I was in the shack again without lucidity.

    9. The Cat-Fox

      I was in a fairly large computer lab, hanging around with a couple of my friends. The walls were brick painted a solid grey color which would have made the room look like a prison if not for the computers and school-like posters hanging all over the walls. The room was well-lit. Around the walls of the room were long, light turquoise desks and in the center of the room was another one. There were computers stationed two to a desk, with the exception of the center table, which I was sitting at. I was using a white laptop.

      I came across this site, although I'm not sure how, of a high-quality video involving a Savannah-like landscape.


      It looked very similar to this.

      It was in the middle of nowhere. There was a metal fence laid straight across the whole area, and another coming out perpendicular from that one. It made a T-shape. On one side of the fence was a German shepherd dog on a leash, and on the other was a creature around half the size of the dog. It had the face, head, and body shape of a cat, but had the tail and ears of a fox. It had a peppered gray coat with a touch of brown, and had thicker dark, almost black stripes running horizontally along its coat.

      It looked pretty cute, but it was snarling at the dog through the fence grating.

      Then, it burrowed under the fence (I might add it did this fairly quickly), and leaped right at the dog, biting its nose. It then grabbed onto its muzzle with its paws and didn't let go even when the dog shook it off.

    10. Cars That Really do "Fly"

      I was in the main entrance of a hospital. It was very spacious and had a high ceiling, probably three or four stories high, and the color scheme around the room was white, light blue, and some tan brick on the walls. I was standing at the main reception desk (there was no one working at it), and waiting for my mother to come back from work. She appeared soon after and told me that she'd need ten or fifteen more minutes to complete a case. That must mean she was working as a surgeon or a nurse.

      She walked away and I was left there alone again, wondering what to do for the allotted time. I decided to leave the hospital and walk to a coffee shop. I wanted that cup of coffee.

      Outside, it was daytime, almost cloudy. The sky was slightly pale and there were many clouds covering out the sun's bright rays.

      I walked down the street. The road beside me was busy with cars, probably those returning from work at the end of the day. I walked for a few minutes and then realized it was probably time to be heading back. I wouldn't be getting any coffee today.

      On the way back, things changed a bit. It was now very windy. But I wasn't the one being affected, nor were the other people trying to get into and exit their cars. It was the cars themselves that were being blown up into the air and tipped over! It was like walking down the street and watching cardboard boxes fly away but instead it was cars. People were holding them down, and I saw my car up ahead (that magically appeared). It was a blue convertible that looked similar to the image below.


      I walked up to it and held it down until the wind died a bit, and then got in by hopping over the side and right into the driver's seat. The wind picked up again but I was still in the car, with no way of holding it down, so it began to tip. I quickly got my butt out of there and let it go with the wind. I couldn't drive it, so it might as well blow away.

    11. Have You Seen Him?

      "Hey," I asked a man passing by in his emerald green car, "have you seen Jake Sully?"

      "No." He drove off.

      I looked around to see if anyone else would come. It was daytime, and the sky was a bright blue with a few wispy clouds here and there. I was in the middle of nowhere, on the side of a road that wound all the way around a large lake. There were no trees, just short grass, both green and dead patches, so you could see the other side of the lake. There was no way to enter this road that encircled the lake, and the car that passed me just a few seconds ago continued to go around and around the lake on the road. I didn't realize that this was strange.

      Another vehicle, a rusty orange piece-of-junk truck this time, suddenly appeared and drove up to me, stopping. The person inside rolled their window down, which took a few moments because it was sticking. There was one person in the truck: a woman who looked like she was around forty years old. She was smoking a cigarette and there was dusty smoke coming out of the window, but I couldn't smell anything.

      "I'm looking for Jake Sully," I told her.

      She nodded her head and handed me a piece of white paper with something printed on it. It was an image of Jake Sully that looked like it was printed on with a home printer. The image looked sort of like the one below (maybe because I've seen it so many times before), but certain features of his face were warped and "dream-like".


      I took the paper and she drove off.

    12. RCCW and Wilson's Death

      My father, my sister and I were bringing in our car for a car wash. I didn't know the name of the building, only that we needed to wash our car really badly. We stepped inside once a man took our keys and got into our car, and into something very bizarre.

      Right when you were to walk in, the room was big. It was rectangular-shaped, and the walls were painted a paler orange with white square accents, almost like the colors in some modern houses. What was directly in front of us, though, was even weirder: a roller coaster. I suppose it was some sort of attraction for while you're waiting for your car to be washed? It came from an open doorway to the right of the room, went in front of us, curled around the other side, and went back through another door on the right-hand side again. The roller coaster moved slowly, as there was no 'set time' to load yourselves on. You had to know when it was going to jerk and keep moving, so you didn't fall. But other than that, it was pretty safe.

      The design of the cars were square, brighter orange, and a solid guard-rail on all four sides. You had to really jump in over these rails in order to get inside. Sooner or later, we were able to get in before the coaster moved on to the next room. In this new room, the roller coaster went up, and then down, and then up and down again on a gentler sort of slope. But then, there was a larger drop, followed by an inversion. When I woke up, I thought this was extremely stupid, since there were no restraints whatsoever on the cars. We'd have fallen out if the dream had used proper gravitational forces. I also kicked myself for not becoming lucid.

      But this dream has two parts. The next section involves Wilson from the show House.

      After the roller coaster, for some reason we didn't go back to the front of the building to pick our car up. Instead, the dream skipped a bit, and we found ourselves in a hospital setting. We were in a room, a spacious room, that looked like one of those divided hospital settings: one patient would be in the front portion of the room, and then on the other side of a curtain, another patient. However, there was no "dividing curtain" and no patients at all inside. There was only one regular (possibly a double?) bed with a baby blue throw. This was on top of the other white hospital blankets, of course. To the upper right of the bed, on the wall, was a larger bulletin board with photos of Wilson's wife, Amber. There were also birthday cards of some sort, letters, and notes. Somehow we knew that Wilson had died in this room; perhaps he was sick, or he had committed suicide. At the end of the room were a few large windows, horizontally placed across the entire wall. We walked slowly towards the windows and looked out. I saw regular, taller buildings.

      The dream was now over.

    13. Mission Space... At the Mall?

      Dream 1 - Mission Space

      Type: regular dream.

      This dream began in a mall-like situation. I was in a hallway, similar to the atrium of a mall, but the walls were much closer even though the ceiling was high up. I was walking towards an open box-like space in this mall 'hallway', with my sister and my father. The walls and floor were of a typical mall location: tile, slightly dirty from people walking on them all the time, with off-white walls.


      That's when I saw the Mission Space sign to the left, just before the opening. It looked like the picture above, but at a smaller scale and less bold, as if the colors were less saturated, or paler. I didn't think anything unusual of this, even though the only Mission Space ride is at Disney World. The next instant, I eagerly asked my father if we could go on. He said sure, and so all three of us got into the single capsule (click here to see what it looks like in real life). It looked the same as that, except that the four seats inside the capsule were all closed off from one another, separated by a thin wall. So once I got inside, I couldn't see my father or sister. I paid no attention to how I managed to get inside, into the middle seat even though I couldn't recall the walls coming out or opening up to allow entry.

      Then, the simulation started.

      I recall it looking shockingly similar to the real thing, except that the screen in front of me looked like a slightly fuzzy television screen: one of those with the slightly convex screens with bits and pieces of static all over, and it was not as clear as it should have been. I even felt slight G-forces, or something similar to that, as the ride took off. On the screen, I saw the end of a straight roller coaster track, and then I felt the beginning of forces acting against me as the simulator began working. But soon enough, I felt the dream fading. I began to lose my sense of touch even though I was holding two handles on the sides of the ride, almost like a numbness, and my vision was getting dark. I suddenly realized that was is a dream, but unfortunately, it was too late. I resolved to DEILD as soon as I got back in bed.



      Dream 2 - DEILD

      It worked. I managed to think clearly enough of the inside of the capsule, where I was inside my last dream, as well as imagine the senses of touch, smell, and sight regarding the ride. I ended back up inside the ride. Now, I just had to get out of it. I panicked for a second, but then I summoned a big red emergency button. It looked like one of those glass ones, with very red coloring and a slight light emitting from it. I pressed it and the ride capsule opened, front-first. I got up and walked straight out of it, and I realized now that I could do anything I wanted. I shouted "yes, I DEILDed!" as I usually do and started running towards an exit door that I summoned. I could see, in the corner of my eyes, a couple DCs staring at me like I was a psychotic person, but I didn't stop to explain; I had precious time to spend in this dream. I turned a corner and I emerged out into a city-like area with a large brick building; tan bricks, some triangular roofs...

      But then I woke up.

    14. Demon Fish and a False Awakening

      Dream 1 - Evil Fish

      Type: regular dream (nightmare).

      In this dream, I was initially inside a regular office building. It had white walls, desks, and basically whatever makes up an office building. I was on a mission to find someone, and one other person was working with me, although I wasn't sure who. They were on the lower floor, skimming the ground level to find who we were looking for. There was a large square opened up in the wall of the building, which I jumped out of. I landed on the top of another building, slightly lower than where I jumped from. There were three or four other buildings beside this one arranged in a cluster, close enough to jump from one to the other, and I did this, looking for a way down since I didn't find the person up here. I found a rope which I slid down the side of the building, but didn't burn my hands in the process. At the bottom, there was another hole, in the wall of the building I just slid down from, and it was dark inside. Nothing.

      I felt foreboding emanating from the hole, so I tried to walk past it quickly. As soon as I stepped in front of it, two demon-like fish creatures, one pale maroon and one steel blue, shot out and killed me. I remembered seeing their extremely long, sharp teeth, but didn't feel anything as they ripped me apart. I watched in third-person which was a pretty horrifying experience.



      Dream 2 - False Awakening

      I woke up from this nightmare, or so I thought.

      My eyes were closed, but I was staring into a blurry sea of turquoise and mint green. I knew I was dreaming, not only because of this, but because I felt funny, almost numb. I opened my eyes and realized that I was lying down on a solid wooden bench, like something a 5-year old had carved out from a block of wood. Maybe the dream changed the location because I already knew I was dreaming, and wouldn't believe the false awakening.

      I was in an almost rainforest-like setting, but it was less realistic in color. There were many pink plants and violet leaves, which was intriguing but at the same time, uninteresting. I got up and saw a path to the left. It was purely dirt with a few small grey stones embedded, reminding me of the film Alice in Wonderland that I had watched the other day.


      The dream faded.

      Ran over a puffin yesterday in my dreams.

      I was in a vehicle with two of my friends. We were somehow all in the front row, even though there should have been only two seats; I can't remember if there were more or not. Anyhow, my friend was in the driver's seat, driving us along a divided highway. On each side of the asphalt there was a concrete barrier, even though past that there was only grass and trees.

      We drove for a little while and then two birds came into view, a Canadian goose was right on the yellow strip diving the two lanes, and a puffin, which was more over to the right, where we were driving.


      The goose was larger than the puffin, which I believe was correct. However, my friend somehow didn't see the birds, and drove right over top of the puffin (the goose was on the center of the road, whereas we weren't). I look back at the birds.

      The puffin is on its back, the middle of its body squished, and bleeding. I told my friend, "holy crap! You just ran over a puffin!"

      She turned around and looked through the rear window, letting go of the wheel. "I didn't know!" she told us, and started to cry.
