    The Doors

    I don't remember what the setting was, but I was talking to two middle-aged guys. I'm pretty sure I had been talking to more people on the same subject before, but I don't remember any of that.
    We were talking about special doors that open into different worlds. The previous people had seen the doors, and seen the doors while they were open, and seen through the doors. The two last guys were different. The second guy, a rough-looking man in the lower 30s, said he had gone through the doors. Right then I could see in my mind's eye the door and the other world beyond. It wasn't as much of a world as it was like subspace: Swirling colors and little tangible land.
    What really got me going was what the first person said: He said that he was able to open the doors. I understood that he meant he could open them when others couldn't, or when they were locked, and this got me really excited. And a little scared.
    And I awoke.

    The crazy thing about it was that the doors seemed so amazing because the dream was set in this world, as it is, with NO fantasy elements whatsoever.
    And then there are these doors...

      It was honestly freaky, 'cause it was totally reality.... and then there were the doors.

      Yeah that's wicked. Did you manage to see any of them? I kind of hope you dream about it again, haha

      No joke, I did! When the guys I was talking to were telling me what they had seen, I could somehow see it, too. The doors looked like plain doors just floating in mid-air, and when the door opened... weird.
      The area around the door faded almost to grey, and through the door I could see, um,... Gee, I'm not sure how to describe it.
      It was sort of like when you're playing an SNES game on your computer and you turn off the front background layer, how sometimes there are all sorts of crazy, swirling rainbow colors. Like that.
      In fact, it was less like the doors led to another world, and more like they went through the normal 3-dimensional shell, to.... woah. That's deep.
      I'm going to have to think about that for a while, now.

      Wow, heavy stuff 0.0 You have intense dreams! By the way I love your signature. I can totally relate. Hahaha

      It's from two Bride songs, "No More Nightmares" (The night is alive, it calls out your name), and "Evil Dreams" (Evil dreams come to me in my sleep, but they won't get the best of me).
      Good music, if I do say so myself.

      Well, we ARE in the same boat, there. That is, regarding lucidity.
      It sucks, doesn't it? Especially since (as ImageAll put it) "sleep kinda fell of my schedule."
