Lucid Dreams
This one's kind of awkward LOL. Firstly, I wasn't even fully asleep. I could still feel my body in bed. But whatever I was portraying in my mind seemed real. Like It was a dream, but I was still awake. And I remember that if I didn't focus enough, it would go away. The setting was a shower. I wasn't actually in it, but I tried to imagine the sound of the shower going, hoping that my girlfriend was in it so that we could... Nevermind LOL. The point is... I was half awake, and half asleep. And dreaming at the same time. What is this?! It was a dream, no doubt about that. But what exactly is this? Half dreaming? My body was not fully asleep, I could feel my body laying in my bed. But my mind kept dreaming... This dream is not being rated.
I almost had yet another LD. This one would have definitely been a WILD. I remember losing feeling in my body, yet my mind was still conscious. And I was thinking: [Ok, ok, this is it, I just gotta stay calm and not think too much...] But for some reason, not long after the transition started, I woke up completely. All the feeling in my body came back at once. I think this happened because I was worried that I couldn't breathe or something. I couldn't feel myself breathe, so I started to breathe manually. I didn't think it would have an effect on me, but apparently it did. Still, I was so close to making the transition that when I imagined simple pictures, they seemed much more vivid than normal. WILD appears to be the easiest technique for me, so I'm going to keep trying it...
Ok so I had about 2 successful LDs a few weeks ago... And just had another last night. Although this one was short because I had to wake myself up on purpose... Mainly because it was... Kinda bad. So I was in the dream, laying in my bed again and it was very dark but there was still a little bit of light. So I turn my head left (which is the most strength I've had so far lol) And there's a weird black ball floating next to my bed (just above the mattress), And I can see it's kinda shiny. At first it didn't seem like such a big deal, but then it started to make random growling noises. ...A bad LD? And I was obviously scared so I forced myself to wake up. I don't know why it seemed so scary to me at the time, because now it just seems stupid. I could have stayed in the dream longer, but as I said, I had to force myself to wake up because I was just too scared. I'm just happy that it's another LD. The more I have, the better. All I actually do to get LDs it seems, is just go to sleep normally but still have the idea and want of an LD in my head... Weird... But it works...
Ok, I ALMOST had yet another WILD. This would have been my 4th one this week, had this attempt and another attempt not failed. So I've had 2 WILDs this week, And 2 almost WILDs. I'm definitely getting the hang of these now. I felt the heavy feeling come across my body and everything, and it got darker and darker... But for some stupid reason, I woke up -__- I dunno why, but I did. There appears to be a... pattern... as well... WILD, Almost WILD, WILD, Almost WILD, --- Perhaps this is a pattern, and maybe I'll have another full WILD soon? Idk. But I'm still glad I'm getting used to Lucid Dreaming again...
I did it again. I had another full LD. A bit of good news too. In this LD, I remembered to try what some people on DV suggested. Um... I tried to imagine myself in a grass field, but it didn't work... More of a good thing though, My physical strength increased in the dream a bit. I was able to lift my arm completely off the bed. I don't know why I did it, but who cares, it worked. LOL Still progress. I think I'm getting physically stronger in my LD's now. (And I looked up the LD terms, and the LD's that I've been having are WILDs) o.o Ok now about the actual dream... I was in a bedroom again... only this time, it actually kinda did look like my bedroom, except everything in the room was rearranged. The windows, the TV, the stereo. All of them were in different locations, and it was actually kinda bright in the room this time too. I'm getting better at these already
This one was actually pretty fun... and yes, another semi-lucid. Alright so first I walked into this random western town and there was a bar but someone was standing in front of the door and blocking the way in. I didn't want trouble, of course, so i kinda walked around for a few seconds and then they moved out of the way. So I went inside the bar, and I saw the bar counter. (And this is probably the longest conversation I've ever had with a DC) So I walked up kinda slowly, and sat down on one of the stools. Then I asked for a coffee. The bartender asked me "What time did you wake up...?" And for some reason, instead of saying the time of day, I said the year. I said "...Two thousand and thirteen." (Which is weird since it obviously isn't 2013 yet.) Hahahah. The look on his face was priceless xD. I don't remember the whole conversation exactly, but I began to tell him about how I was from the future. Then we heard that there was an angry mob approaching the bar, so I ran outside, with the bartender and some other person following me. I then began to kind of squeeze between 2 buildings to get behind them and run away, although it was taking longer than it should have. After I got behind the buildings, The bartender and other guy somehow got ahead of me. For some reason, it was becoming difficult for me to run properly. I was really slow for some reason. So the dream ended with the three of us just running away from the angry mob.
This dream was actually pretty awesome. First of all, sometime in the beginning of the dream, I had gotten a handgun. It was really shiny. Almost chrome. I was in my high school, and I went into the gym and there was an assembly. We were all watching a movie. Then I got the attention of one of my friends and showed him the gun and he was like "Damn... o.o" And then I showed another friend, (and keep in mind, we're sitting on the gym floor), and he said "Ummm.... You should put that away..." As I was about to, someone kind of far away brought out a gun to show us, and lifted it right into the air while they were sitting down. I gave them a thumbs up, and they threw the gun to me and I caught it, but then I noticed someone out of the corner of my right eye, and tossed the gun to my friend (The second one I mentioned), and he caught it.The person I noticed out of the corner of my eye turned out to be a police officer. O_O All the while, I was trying to put my handgun away, but it was in plain sight. The officer saw my friend with the gun in his hand that I tossed to him (which kind of looked like a rifle or shotgun) and he took his nightstick and basically just bonked him on the head with it. It didn't seem like he hit him hard but it knocked him out. The officer then said something like "No more of that." and then kind of started to report the incident to everyone out loud. "We discovered an entirely different weapon on top." (meaning my gun) But before he could knock me out with the nightstick, I woke up. Kind of felt like I commanded myself to wake up too. Almost like I was lucid at the very end of the dream. What I find strange is that.... The officer's voice... I don't even know that voice... It's said that in dreams, everyone we see is someone we know or have seen one time or another... The officer... I swear I've never seen or heard this guy before until this dream. When I woke up though, I started looking for my gun for some reason. ...lol ...So yeah, once again, another semi-lucid dream. I'm having a lot of these now. Perhaps it means I'm close to becoming regularly lucid?
Wow. Incredible. After months of having no fully lucid dreams, I finally had one! it started like this. i opened my eyes in my dream, i was in bed. so anyways my bed was rotating once again... in real life i have a fan next to my bed. in the dream, it was nowhere to be found but i could still feel the air blowing on me. i was in a dark room. but i soon realized it was not my bedroom. and i was 100% aware i was dreaming. but theres a bit of a problem. i could barely move. Does anyone know why this is...?! I was completely lucid in the dream, but I was like "Frozen" I guess... I could move my arms maybe about a few inches across the bed, but that's about it.... I even found it difficult to open my mouth, and especially difficult to talk. The room was kinda big. and the ceiling was pretty high. i remember seeing light coming in from the windows. not much though. everything was still pitch black. I had pretty much no control in this dream, which actually makes me sad considering that this is the first one i had in a while. Another weird thing... as soon as i entered the dream (which, by the way, happened twice), i could hear my moms voice saying random words. quite loudly too. But why was i so weak in the dream...?! Seriously, I need some help here.

This dream kinda ties into the previous one from this dream journal because they occurred on the same night... Anyways... I was in a dark room full of people who looked like they were students at some sort of martial arts training club or something. I was the target, however. A lot of them kept approaching me and I had to punch each one just once for them to back off. Suddenly, I'm in this place with a friend. And the fighters stop coming towards me, so I guess I won. And all the people who were students turn into little kids. And they all come towards my friend and I, with gifts. My friend was getting more gifts than me for some reason. I waited for a bit and a kid came up to me with a box that contained something obviously useless. As I took it, I remember saying "Thank you, good sir." (lol) I remember looking at the box... It had a lot of indented red circles on a dark blue background, and the box itself was made of tin, and was Spider-Man themed. o_O I remember reading some words on the box just before I woke up. It said "These Dots Connect-" And that's all I read before I woke up.
Now this one was pretty weird... I was in a dark forest type place, and there was this evil girl. She challenged me to a fight and transformed into like a huge robot or something. But, yet again, I went SEMI-lucid and i summoned a huge spaceship to destroy her. And it worked. I remembered that the lasers from the spaceship I summoned were green. She returned to her normal human form. She was almost as tall as me, pretty skinny, and had blonde hair. I don't remember what happened after that... ._.
Ok so i was in my elementary school's...um... recess area, i guess, and i remember that there was like a random kitten. and it was like running around and stuff, and i was trying to catch it. Then one of these mean kids picks up the kitten and like... drop kicks it ;_; ...then a few other kids are like throwing it around so next thing i know, its on the ground away from all the kids, and it looks like its dead.......... but its not.... i look closer, trying to imagine it breathing, and it works. i start to see its chest expand and contract a little. so i pick it up, and i go to take it inside the school. to do that, i have to walk past all the kids. And i remember as i'm walking past, i said something like "Try to hurt this kitten again, and I'll rip off your head and stuff it down a f*ckin toilet!" ...so i walked in the school, and went to the office to ask if they had a box i could put the kitten in to take home with me. The kitten was small, and had a mixture of black and grey colors on its fur. I don't remember what happened after that.
This requires a lot of explaining. So in other words, a lot of reading, but please bear with me ._. Ok so about 6 months ago, I lived in a nice house... Everything was normal. Then, out of nowhere I had this one dream where it felt like I was awake. But what happened was, I was laying down with my eyes closed... And I could feel my bed float off the ground a few feet, and rotate 360 degrees before slowly falling back to the ground again. ...It didn't stop there. A few days later, I had another one of these dreams, except it was a bit more intense. Instead of slowly floating, this time my bed floated a bit faster, right up to the ceiling of my room. My eyes were open and I saw the ceiling like 20 inches away from my head. Then it dropped quite fast onto the floor. I started to have these dreams quite often, and they kept getting more and more intense with each one. Eventually I was at the point where I would have a dream like this and my bed would either skyrocket past my ceiling and into pitch black darkness, or carefully aim itself and dive into the floor at breakneck speed. It felt like I was on a roller coaster, except way faster. After about a month or so, I actually started to discover on my own that I could kind of control where my bed was going using my mind. Although it didn't work as often as I had hoped, it still helped. Then I had this one dream... This one specific dream that really freaked me out. My bed floated horizontally in this dream. All I saw was darkness, but I could feel it moving. And then my bed floated by a white fireplace. I didn't have a fireplace in that room. But the thing that really freaks me out about that is, there's a chimney right outside my room, as part of the house... There WAS a fireplace in my bedroom... 200 years ago. The fireplace that I saw was white, and there was a small fire in it, and it was brighter than it should have been for such a small fire. Yet, the light didn't go anywhere else. The light itself only surrounded the fireplace. Eventually these dreams started to happen less often. Then I had to move out of that house. I left my old bed there because I already had a new one ready for the new house, the one I'm living in now. After I moved here, those dreams stopped ENTIRELY. I think those were lucid dreams, though. Because I felt awake in all of them. Even though these events happened not that long ago, at the time, I knew what a lucid dream was, but... I don't know... I have no idea why I didn't take control. For some reason, now, it's harder for me to fully LD... Anyway, thanks for taking your time to read this, it was pretty weird.

This dream is from a while ago... I was with my parents and they said that we had to go visit someone. So we left the house, but next thing I know I'm in a big log cabin in the woods and it's night time. My parents are talking to someone. It's pretty dark inside the cabin too. At this point, I realize I'm in the dream and I go lucid. Since I'm lucid, I decide to practice hovering/light flying inside. (The log cabin itself was big, like LONG) So I was jumping like a 20 ft distance. and was like 8 ft off the ground. Almost like there was no gravity. Then my mom or dad asked "What are you doing?" and I said "Trying to fly.", and then they all laughed... Meanwhile I was floating in the air when they asked. That's all I remember from this dream.
Ok so I was in my elementary school's field, and i was with some of my friends, plus these 5 other guys who were like basketball players, and yes they were black... anyways we had basketballs and we traded them in or something, to get Dr. Pepper... O_o But the basketball players wanted Pepsi... Which you needed to trade in a football to get... but there were bullies that had the footballs, so the basketball players wanted to go and steal them. So i remember us actually getting 5 footballs. then i picked them all up and brought them back to where we were before... and the basketball players got the pepsi they wanted... Also this was semi-lucid too because i remember that i realized i was in the dream, but i wanted to show those bullies who's boss. So that's pretty much the end of the dream. I hope to go fully lucid again, eventually, but it's kinda difficult for me to do... It has been lately O_o
A few years ago, I had a dream I was standing in the street... I got randomly hit by a speeding vehicle, but instead of getting splattered on the pavement or waking up, I was launched into the air, still in standing position, (here's where I become semi-lucid) then I notice how far I am from the ground, (actually about triple the height of telephone poles), but instead of freaking out, I just crossed my arms and said "Is this really supposed to scare me?" Just after I said that, everything turned distorted, like it was television, and someone was messing with the antenna. Then everything went dark for a few seconds, and I woke up. Before I had that dream, I was terrified of heights. Now... They don't bother me in the least. Has anyone else had this sort of experience? Like, gotten over a fear in a dream?
