I am the leader of a dwarven city in the middle of a coo. I am not a dwarf. I have listened to one of my shadiest advisors and killed the dwarf king because he was slowing down the political progress in the middle of a major war. Now that the king is dead, it is up to me to calm the respective civic leaders before I send the town fighting. I must climb many steps to get to the city assembly. There is a meeting to decide if the people would kill me or accept me as their leader. With each step up the staircase I must formulate what I'm going to say about how I have killed their popular king and his most ardent supporters. Ultimately I know that my argument must hinge on safety and how I have done what I've done to protect the city and that my heinous actions have only come from a place of love and concern. I have pictures of the war outside the city and video of the atrocities that the advancing enemy has committed. I do not want to show the assembly these pictures but I know that if that's what I have to do to save myself and take control, that's what I will do. The dream ends with me and my elite guard pushing open the towering doors to the assembly and seeing the town gathered, thousands and thousands of people staring at me.
