    13-07-06 Serial Killer Escapes

The funniest non-lucid I've had in a while. The story was about a serial killer, locked up in a room on the third floor of a mental institution. The whole dream was stylized like a Quentin Tarantino flick, and made a lot of sense. In a flashback, I saw how the killer (I knew his name, I forgot) used to work with children in a day-care center. As the other adults played with the children, he sat there motionlessly, lost in thoughts. Until the voices in his head told him to kill children. He was in his late twenties at that moment. He was quickly prosecuted and locked away, and as my consciousness temporarily merged with that of the killer, I could see reports of "my" arrest on TV. It was big. I was the next Ted Bundy, just worse because I mass-murdered children.

So, the killer was on the third floor of the institution. When the orderlies had left, he scanned the room looking for a way out. There were windows, and they didn't appear locked. I guess they were hoping prisoners wouldn't try to escape that way, because it was on third floor and it was a long way down. Some smaller hatches in the walls (?) probably lead to the attic. Suddenly, I heard voices. "Where is he?" The killed had moved out of sight of the door, and the orderlies were worried he had escaped. "I" took control of the killer, and quickly lay down on my bed to do something - like read a book (I'm not sure what I did anymore). They came in, and saw everything was fine. Then they left again.

The killer went to the window, and started opening it very slowly. It made a lot of noise, however. Outside of the building was a large lawn, where orderlies and nurses cared for less dangerous inmates. He kept opening the window all the way, and crawled outside onto a balcony. It had bars to prevent escape. Sadly, two of the female orderlies on the lawn looked up, alarmed. I whispered to the killer that he had been noticed. The orderlies gathered below the balcony, awaiting his next move. The side of the balcony was exposed, so "we" (it was as if I was the spectator of the 'film', as well as the voice in his head AND the one controlling his actions) started climbing down. The two female orderlies followed my every move, and were waiting for me. They looked pretty smug, as if I didn't stand a chance in hell to escape. I think I used telekinesis to kill one of the orderlies, by tossing some of the bars of the balcony into her face. The surviving one looked shocked for a second, but quickly regained her composure. We struggled for a moment, and I extended my arm to push her away telekinetically. Sadly, my power didn't work. She injected me with a sedative into my arm. She looked so amazingly smug about stopping me, I still wish I could hurt her.

I found the killer back in his room. This time however, there were four guards there with him, guarding him 24/7. Two orderlies, and two special agents, dressed in neat suits and sunglasses, each with a big calibre pistol. Some of them were watching TV, and doing random things to stay occupied. I looked around, and noticed escape was out of the question like this. I became the voice in the killer's head, and told him he needed to "kill them all".

He came up with a clever plot. A friend came to visit, and pretended to sell him a dog (yeah). While they were talking about what race it was, they secretly exchanged something (a key?). Either way, the plot worked, and suddenly our serial killer had a chainsaw. He went on a rampage, and brutally murdered everybody in the room. The friend was pleased, and congratulated him. But the killer could not be trusted. He killed his best friend with a stroke from the chainsaw to the face. It was all rather graphic. The top of his head was just... gone. I saw a quick info-video about how the body works. It said that if you cut off any limb, the body is drained of blood completely. If you cut off the top of his head, he doesn't lose that much, but he would eventually die of organ failure.

In the next scene, the killer escaped, and calmly walked away from the institution. The camera went to the stage of a concert hall, where the headless guy suddenly appeared in the spotlight. All the people started screaming and bolted for the exit.
