    Lucid Dreams

    1. Rain is all I get

      by , 11-07-2017 at 07:46 PM
Had a lucid dream this morning. I don't know if it was via MILD or this meditation technique I'm playing with. The meditation technique is Sam Harris' "Imagine you have no head" meditation. Anyway, I find myself in a lucid dream in the usual spot, outside of my house. It was raining heavy. I turn my face up to the sky and attempt to part the clouds with my dream control. No budge. A small rift of blue appears. Why is it always cold, wet and raining my lucid dreams?

Realized I was dreaming when I was trying to get into my car and escape a zombie. It wouldn't start so I willed the car to start.

"Oh, I must be dreaming. Better not think too much or the dream will end. "

    5. Short one

I had 45 minutes until it was time for me to get ready for work. I thought, "aw what the hell, let's get a lucid dream for the fun it." I lay in my bed and focus on the center of my head. The center being if you were to stab a skewer into one earhole and out the other; the midpoint of that skewer would be my point of focus. This is right around the area where the pineal gland is inside the brain. The transition happened and I was stuck standing next to my bed for 30 seconds without any motor abilities. My body would not move and my eyes would not open but half way.

My room was different. It felt very empty.

    6. Tried meditating in a lucid dream

      by , 09-28-2017 at 04:03 PM
Got lucid, went outside. It was overcast, cold and raining so I sit on my porch in a half-lotus position and attempt to meditate like I intended. It felt weird. The dream didn't get any more vivid. In any case, the lucid part of the dream ended after like 30 seconds and it was non-lucid randomness about being a japanese salaryman from there.

    7. Two days; two dreams.

      by , 09-18-2017 at 04:22 PM
Listening to the sound of silence. Same old meditation during WBTB to go straight into a lucid dream but this time I am focusing on listening to the sound of idle noise. This idle noise in my ears; more like in my hearing. If you plug your ears, yes you hear nothing but you also hear a slight ringing, hum, buzz, or whatever. It's an idle sound if you pay attention close enough. So I just sit and focus on this sound for about 10 minutes then retire to bed; still focusing on this noise.

The lucid dreams were stable for a while but when just collapsed despite me engaging all of my senses and rubbing my hands.

Had a lucid dream this morning via mindfulness meditation during a WBTB period. The WBTB was kind of long and..well more awake than usual. A protip to myself is that don't do meditation half-asleep hence the more active WBTB period. The transition into WILD felt weird. Sleep paralysis felt like some small gremlin jumped on my body. I started rocking like I was in a hammock to loosen my dream body. I swear these feel like what I would imagine OBE's to be. I did the same thing I did half-a-dozen times where I got out my bed and went outside.

The dream was amazingly stable. I was able to walk down my street and get to the park nearby; mind you, I was rubbing my hands throughout the entire experience. My right wrist was hurting in the dream however which made me think I had fell asleep on it the wrong way. I continued rubbing my hands until I ran into a tree branch. WOKE ME UP!

Had some non-lucid dreams after that.

      No Naomi, lol.

    9. Stability Fail

      by , 08-23-2017 at 04:48 PM
WBTB -> Mindfulness Meditation -> Stare through the eyelids. I realized I was dreaming at some point and decided to pretend I didn't know I was dreaming as to prolong the dream. Don't remember what happened after that. Stability is the hardest thing.

Too much happened in the lucid dream for me to remember and to write down. WBTB->Mindfulness Meditation->Stare through the eyelids. That all I did for a lucid dream. Rather two lucid dreams. The second lucid dream happened because I noticed every time I looked at a lcd clock, the time would change. I knew I was dreaming from that. The lucid dream had to be 5 to 10 minutes before waking up.

    11. Mindfulness

Woke up for WBTB. Did a mindfulness meditation:

      -Sit
-Center your mind in the present moment and NOT your thoughts.
-Stare through your eyelids/Gaze at the wall opposite of you as if your eyes were open.

Afterwards, I lay down for sleep and continue to keep my awareness as much centered in the present as possible whilst still gazing through my eyelids into the distance.

Had a lucid dream where I gazed at the sky to look for the moon. The moon did appear, then another, then another, then another. Was really strange. Some people appeared and I lost lucidity because I don't remember what happened afterwards.

    13. Just fall asleep.

      "Have a lucid dream tonight!"

"How to Lucid Dream in Five Minutes!"

I would be the first to criticise and clown videos titled as such since I know - from 8 years of experimenting - that lucid dreaming doesn't work that way. But this morning, I had a lucid dream in about 10-15 minutes. I had only 20 minutes left before I had to get up and get ready for work, I wanted to get just some extra shut-eye because my sleep was messed up by a Series of Unfortunate Events. What I did in that 20 minutes was focus on FALLING ASLEEP. That's really all I was thinking about. I wasn't thinking about an anchor or what I was going to do in the lucid dream that would follow. My anchor by the way was me alternating between focusing on the breath(meditating) and staring through my eyelids; whichever was more comfortable in the moment. I just made sure my primary focus was falling asleep.

I was having powerful hypnagogia until I felt my body able to move. It's like a visualization but more 'real' as in you can feel the senses better in the visualization. I got out of my bed to find a young woman more or less 19 with a white t-shirt and black yoga pants laying in my bed giggling. The ended there. So yeah, I had a 8 second lucid dream.

    14. Back on it.

      by , 07-20-2017 at 04:25 PM
Been a while since I had a lucid dream. I really need to get in touch with Daniel Love about my technique. All I did was lay down and go to sleep after a WBTB. But the trick is that I was [bold] STAIRING THROUGH MY EYELIDS]. I knew instantly I was about to WILD when I felt my body completely relaxing, going numb and falling asleep. My eyes begin pointing downward. It happened all at once. All I had to do was start moving my dream body and I was ready to go.

For like 20th time, I got outside my house and walked around. It was sort of clear skies outside. But the dream was short. I remember also I tried my best to anchor myself in the dream world. I said things like, "I am the dream" and tried rubbing my hands together. But I can't seem to get a lucid dream longer than 45 seconds.

    15. A very simple WILD induction.

      by , 07-12-2017 at 04:12 PM
Woke up for around 30 minutes.

Layed in bed with a clear mind.

That's it. If you've done mindfulness/meditation you understand this mindset.

Transitioned into the dream world. It was kind of wonky because I didn't know if I was actually moving in the dream world or if I was still moving in the waking world. I didn't want to do a reality check because that would have been too much moving....Got outside, it was overcast. That's all I remember.
