      Just had my first control

Like literally 10 minutes ago I controlled my first dream. I kept trying like 4 times, but kept waking myself up and i eventually got it. I started flying through the air and I could feel the wind and everything. I got really excited and scared so i tried waking myself up, and I woke up in my dream and I was talking and moving, and then my bed started shaking violently. And then I realized I was dreaming again so I woke myself up. It was like I was in a dream within a dream, but i could have swore that I wasn't.. It was really weird. But thanks if you are reading, comment if you have any tips for me.

I noticed this is your first post, so welcome to Dreamviews!

You had a lucid dream, and then tried to wake yourself up. When you did that, your mind "expected" you to wake up so you entered a new dream. This time you were in bed as if you'd just woken up, it's called a false awakening and it's more common than you think.

Why did you wake yourself up both times? I guess because in the first one you got scared, which is natural, but what about the second one? Or were you just not aware enough to think, "I can stay in the dream and do something"?

Well when I "woke up" or falsely did, my bed started shaking like 5 or 10 seconds after.. it was really weird.. and also, when i started flying, the only reason I got scared was because it felt like as I was moving in my dream, I would move in real life also. So if I rolled over in my dream, I would roll over on my bed and fall off. And my bed is 5 feet off the ground, so I was like.. "o shit, I better wake up so i don't fall off" haha.. But to clear that up, I shouldn't fall off of my bed should I? Like as i move in my dream, my body shouldn't move in real life?

No it shouldn't because your in sleep paralysis. But I'm no expert. I've only fallen out of bed once.
Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.

It's not possible to move in real life, because you're in sleep paralysis. I've never even assumed any form of position I was in while in a lucid dream. I've rolled off beds, fallen off tall buildings, and jumped out windows. Nothing's ever happened to me.

I’ve never been aware of changing anything in my dreams – even when I wanted so badly.
The only “way out” is for me to wake up.
      How do you do?
How do you manage to change things?

You just have to work on awareness. You're on the right track because you're clearly beginning to have lucids, but you have to be even more aware of the fact that you could be dreaming. Non-lucid dreams feel extremely real and we don't question them while we're in them, but real life feels very real too. How do you tell the difference, really, without making sure that you aren't dreaming by doing a reality check?
