Like literally 10 minutes ago I controlled my first dream. I kept trying like 4 times, but kept waking myself up and i eventually got it. I started flying through the air and I could feel the wind and everything. I got really excited and scared so i tried waking myself up, and I woke up in my dream and I was talking and moving, and then my bed started shaking violently. And then I realized I was dreaming again so I woke myself up. It was like I was in a dream within a dream, but i could have swore that I wasn't.. It was really weird. But thanks if you are reading, comment if you have any tips for me. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Well when I "woke up" or falsely did, my bed started shaking like 5 or 10 seconds after.. it was really weird.. and also, when i started flying, the only reason I got scared was because it felt like as I was moving in my dream, I would move in real life also. So if I rolled over in my dream, I would roll over on my bed and fall off. And my bed is 5 feet off the ground, so I was like.. "o shit, I better wake up so i don't fall off" haha.. But to clear that up, I shouldn't fall off of my bed should I? Like as i move in my dream, my body shouldn't move in real life? |

You just have to work on awareness. You're on the right track because you're clearly beginning to have lucids, but you have to be even more aware of the fact that you could be dreaming. |
