Well I haven't had any specific weird experiences with mirrors, but it seems to me that you just let your sub conscious take the upper hand and get alittle out of control. Sit back, take a breather and take control. |

I had a really strange experience w/ a Dream Mirror last night. I was having a conversation w/ a DC in her mansion. I wanted to prove to her my level of dream control, so I stood in front of a large, full-length mirror and said I would make my reflection disappear. I focused on this task and my reflection started to flicker and fade. The DC was standing behind me and her reflection stayed constant. Suddenly, the whole mirror started fogging up, then the fog started coming out of the mirror. I started feeling extremely nauseated and dizzy as this was happening. I stepped away from the mirror, stabilized the dream, and was able to continue w/ the LD for a few minutes, but when I did wake up had a really bad headache. |

The only experience I've had with a mirror involved me looking into the one in my bathroom and my reflection ran away. It ducked away and hid in the corner. I turned around for a second, and when I looked back, it was there again but quickly darted away yet again. That's about all my experience though. |

Thanks Arch and Labyrint. Those answers do help. At the time, even though I was lucid I felt that I had activated something I couldn't control. I just have to remember I can control everything in my LD's. |

My only experience was I looked into my bathroom mirror and noticed my eyes were strangely blurry almost like they weren't there. This got me lucid, and next I looked at my hands to stabilize the dream only to notice a couple fingers were missing, too. However, there were bloody finger sockets where they should have been. |

One of the worst nightmares I've had involved a mirror. There was a ghost in it or something, and it almost crushed me with super intense gravity. I fell to the floor, could barely move, could barely breathe, it was awful. Only nightmare I can remember that actually left me frightened when I woke up. Was even a little apprehensive to look at mirrors for a little while after I woke up. |

Nope, I was long past the HI stage, it was a full blown dream. And it wasn't paralysis, as I could still move. It was just a crushing gravity. I was able to crawl across the floor with a supreme effort. |
