Can you conquer your fears in lucid dreams?

Not sure if this is the right forum to post in, but oh well.

Like the title says, in lucid dreams, can you conquer your fears and not be afraid of whatever it is anymore in waking life? For example, a fear of spiders, of driving, etc.

Yes, lucid dreams can be used to conquer fears. Every Halloween I had to watch the Halloween movie series with my family. That movie scared me as a kid and I was always worried that Micheal Myers would kill me. He would also pop up in my dreams a lot and give me nightmares. After learning lucid dreaming though, I stopped being afraid of him. In the dreams I would usually just break his neck and kill him or something. I believe the ability to defeat him in my nightmares made me stop being afraid of him in real life.

Yes, of course! You can face fears in your dreams and get over almost any fear!

Eisoptrophobia might be a tough one to deal with in dreams.

I once had Freddy Kreugar in my dream, what a pushover. All bark, no bite. I don't remember exactly how the dream went but I could tell I could easily hand him his butt.
