      Shooting a gun during an LD...and other advanced tasks....

      I feel like i'm finally becoming an intermediate LD'er...have had 2 LD's every night for the past 6 nights...

      last night i tried to do something a bit different. I made a handgun materialize in my hand, but when i pulled the trigger nothing happened...I thought to myself 'hmm the safety button must be on' so I flicked the safety switch but still couldn't fire the gun...

      also, what other fun/exciting/different tasks could i try??
      LD GOAL LIST

      1) Re-live the D-day landings like in the opening scene in 'Saving Private Ryan'. Arrive by landing boat, storm the beach, kill me some Nazis.
      2) A prolonged flying experience through beautiful landscape/scenery
      3) Have a 'nice' time with Chery Cole and Nicole Schwerzinger

      Is there a chart to determine what skill level I am at? I am not sure what counts as intermediate level. Congartulations on achieving a higher degree of success in LDing.

      Try wading into a stream and see if you can really feel the water and interact with it.

      Try to erase all of the scenery, and make the picture totally white. Then cause a new scene to take its place.

      Someone should do that in the wiki or something ^^ with different skillsets and/or tasks that puts you on certain levels :-)

      Most likely the only gun you've ever held in your hands are toy ones that also do nothing when you pull the trigger, so the dream modeled it's self after those experiences.

      Swords are way more reliable in dreams than guns are. There are fewer things that can go wrong with a sword. A gun can jam, run out of bullets, have we gunpowder. If you want a ranged weapon, go with a bow, also much more reliable.
