Seriously though it is an amazing experience in itself. If it gets too intense (even the foreplay, etc.) then you tend to wake up.
Not only is it visual, but you get other sensations whether they are auditory, tactile, vibrations, etc. which seem to add to the overall experience, making it often quite memorable.

Funny enough not for me, I always manage to reach extremely close to the end, what wakes me up is when a conclusion is about to come to a story.

When I noticed I was dreaming this morning I conjured up a girl but not a very good one, Anyways I asked her for sex. She said ok but I looked at her again and just decided to wake up instead.

Yes I've had an orgasm in my dreams only one though. I found it helps to relax also sexual dreams start by imagining a sexual scenario or just wanting it enough.

I have yet to orgasm in my dreams, but I did have sex a few different times, it seems way better than the real thing!

I have noticed the 'kissing' in a highly vivid or a lucid dream is really realistic, quite intense and is often quite physical which causes me to wake up.

Comparing dream sex to the real-life .

For me dream sex always ends quicker as i always skip to the best parts and go off whenever i want to. This compared to real-life sex, that sometimes last for hours.

I finally managed this in a lucid 2 days ago. I've tried many times (too many) but this time I didn't wake until I'd finished. It was an intense and realistic experience!

I don't think I dare even post last nights dream's (5 in all) in my dream journal as it may contribute to the delinquency of a minor

Both lucid and non. Its easy to become lucid when they are so vivid but usually they're so good there is nothing I would change anyways so I dont mess with them . (I have been known to screw them up).

I have way too many sex dreams O.o, they can get annoying because you never fully feel "pleasured" and the whole dream seems to be in pursuit of sex. Usually someone walks in and interrupts or you can't find a private place or something just isn't working. I hate sex dreams, I fall into them way too often.

I tried to have sex in my last lucid. I tried to summon someone but it didn't work, so I chose a DC. We went off to find somewhere private then I woke up before we started!

I have had sex in many normal dreams though and it's amazing. It has been very intense without waking me up.
