It depends on the point in the sleep cycle during which your dream is occurring, as well as your personal physiology. For the most part, none of us are going to be moving a whole lot except for our eyes during REM sleep (remember, REM= rapid eye movement), because of REM atonia. A few of us may sleep walk or talk or otherwise act out dreams during other stages of sleep, since the muscles aren't AS inhibited, or because they have a disorder. |
Sleep paralysis is only partial, it doesn't affect muscle activity, breathing and eye movement. If you're running in a dream, you can wake up exhausted |
Certainly, breathing isn't one of those, because nose RC don't works... Other than that, never heard that I talk/move while asleep from my sister (who sleeps in the same room) so truly dunno lol |
i kind of "know" when my actions affect my dream body, becuase i am in a very low level lucid and i feel that if i move to much in my Lucid i wiould move my body and wake up...so the whole dream was me imagiing things....it was not that fun. |
I just hope my shouting doesn't carry over to my physical body... |
Or "END! I COMMAND YOU! NIGHTMARE END!!!!! OH SHIT!!! WHAT'S THAT?!?!?! AHHHH!!!!!!!!" |
I love DEILD! SP is pwnage!
If you're already aware of this then completely disregard it, but it's a very interesting bit about the body when dreaming. |

Dream Goals: []Fight in a war, []Skydive with my eyes to the clouds, []Zombie Outbreak Simulation, []Overcome slow-motion situation, []Have a planned lucid dream, []Alter something in the environment intentionally, [x]Succeed at spinning to stay in the dream, [] Bring the spells to life
I'm a believer in anything being possible, but I'd be very interested to know if you do find a way to do this. |

one time i did a reality check in my dream and i could feel my real body doing it, so my nose pinch didnt work that time(it usually does), but i knew i was dreaming anyway so i still became lucid because i could feel two bodies at the one time. |

Sympathic/Parasympathic activity goes on as well. If you run/jump in your dream your real body blood flow and heartbeat will increase, you can get an erection, your muscles might twitch etc. especially during early stages of sleep. |
Thankfully my real body doesn't do everything my dream body does. I've used the restroom in dreams (and not irl, thank god), and I've also had a couple dreams where a bug or something flew into my mouth, and I spit to get it out. I woke up just as I had spit in the dream, but my pillow was completely dry. |

I suspect your real breathing rate would match the breathing in your dreams. |
