I guess it's just a cultural name thing... people named Dave here are usually, at least in my area, cider drinking, bearded, plump plumbers. Just like Steve and Andy. The name evokes a cliche of that sort of person.

I know a lot of Dave's in michigan. One is Jewish, so he can't be a plumber.

Too much combing, and my hair is the type where if you pet it, it bounces up, it's too springy, meaning there's going to be a lot of knots to get out, and man, do they hurt. >.<
