I really feel that I am getting close to LD - I can feel the benefits of meditation and especially the avoidance of that idiot box prior to sleep.
Actually in recent months I increasingly feel that the the TV has such a detramental effect on our brains/imagination - like the 'Disposable Heroes of Hiphopisy" lyrics - "Television the Drug of a nation, feeding ignorance and breeding radiation ....

YouTube - television the drug of the nation

I limit my kids' exposure to TV but have neglected myself. Ironic, but we always do what's best for our kids first hey...

Thanks for your support - much appreciated ...... :-)
Now that you decrease the idiot box time, your kids will appreciate it even more. You guys can have quality family time. Encourage your kids to talk with you about dreams, be a father for their dreamworld as well, you will not even imagine how united they will get to you. Most fathers arrive home late from work when kids are about to go to sleep, hungry jack dinner with football or whatever crap shows up on TV. Not say about dream-focused fathers. They have a blessing, so if you have not done so yet, be a part of their dream life. The kids will be more united for you and they will not loose their dreaming abilities (and they will work on them since kids)

Like I said to someone who I am going to host guided meditations... eventually, I have a very lazy afternoon and I watch the tv A LOT (like 3 hours in a row) and just vegetate. But most of the time, after dinner, my butt "itches" after about 15-20 minutes of TV and I go meditate, read or computer. Also, funny enough, if I watch TV for over 1h, I never recall what I have seen on it... it is like I am watching TV and my consciousness goes away after a while.

Be happy for a 4 dream recall. That is pretty neat. Dream recall increases lucidity
