I know a lot of us probably use Netflix, Hulu, or TiVo to keep up with our favorite shows. So what I want to know is: what television shows is everyone in the process of watching? How are you liking it so far? Make some recommendations based on what people are liking right now. |

I just recently watched through the first season of Superjail. The pilot episode was really good. It was extremely psychedelic; it reminded me a lot of Salvia. But after that episode the psychedelic nature felt very fake. The last episodes trippiness didn't remind me of actually tripping at all. It felt like it was drawn by someone who hadn't actually tripped before, but was merely making assumptions of what tripping might be like. It was disappointing that the pilot was so good, but the actual season was bland and repetitive. |

Definitely check it out if you have an hour to kill. It's without a doubt worth the effort to search for it and you'll be hooked after the first episode. Plus, there are only 6 episodes in total (full first season) available on Netflix at the moment so you can finish it in one sitting if you can't sleep one night. I just got finished watching the finale. So good! |

Brian Greene's "Fabric of the Cosmos" airs tonight on PBS where I live. I have hope it will be good since "The Fabric of the Cosmos" is the only book I really liked before he lost me with his obsession with extra-dimensions and parallel universes, it should be interesting anyway. |

Breaking Bad season 4 just ended (which was fantabulous), so now I'm onto my two comedies, Community and The Office; I usually watch them when they air or directly after. |
|
@Wayfaerer: Astronomy series are always interesting to watch. The distinctions between the good ones and the great ones are always very subtle. |

On top of the countless other shows I currently watch, I'm about to start Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles based on the recommendation of some friends and Criminal Minds based on the recommendation of my grandmother. |

Lucid dreams detected: 2 \\ 1 MILD & 1 DILD
Spoiler for Spoiler to + infinity:
The Office sucks now, but I still watch i cause I've been a fan for so long. |

Just watched "Hell on Wheels" on AMC, was pretty intriguing. I may watch the next episode! AMC has been pretty great about TV shows... |
|
A new one I've been watching is Enlightened. |
|
I feel like South Park is going pretty steeply downhill, but their thing in ancient aliens was kinda funny. |
|
Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.
South Park is pretty hit or miss. Sometimes they have a brilliant critique on society, and then sometimes it looks like they are just begging for new material to use. |
|
Yeah well the season's been pretty meh but not completely awful. The episode about Musicals subliminally encouraging women to give blowjobs was pretty funny. I like watching it still but I don't expect much hilarity. |

I watch it because it is on, not because I enjoy it |

TV sucks these days for comedy, too. Office is lame now, family guy is lame now, simpsons is lame now... there's just nothing. Community isn't even up to par with the office as it is now, let alone back in the glory days. two and a half men was meh and is even worse with kutcher... I heard they brought back beavis and butthead though |

Shows are funny earlier on, often because once they've used a comedic vehicle, we still expect to get something "new" out of it. Once they run out of material, they have to either scrape the bottom or re-package the same things in creative ways. |
|
These days I tune in to watch Hawaii Five-O, but only because Terry O'Quinn's in some episodes this season. Otherwise... meh. |

DILDs: A Lot
I haven't seen an "original" comedy that isn't just a repackaging in a while... even The Office is an American version of a previous series (although the American version has had 5 more seasons, it's still a remake). Arrested Development was the last original concept in a while, and even THAT was a repackaging of the "dysfunctional family" archetype, just in a strange, season-arcing way. |
|
King of The Hill! But i'm gonna watch anime later tonight. When Toonami left CN really sucks IMO. I'm getting sick of sexual comedy, even kids shows have them Adventure Time, Regular Show, and blahh blahh blahh |
|
I am a huge fan of nature shows, and the best are made by the BBC. |
