Bleach. Look at my Avatar, my sig, my username, my location, everything is screaming 'Bleach'

Well, actually to be fair, it screaming mostly 'Espada'. More specifically Ulquiorra.

I just recently bought the complete Elfen Lied series, and holy fuck it is absolutely amazing. I watched the first five episodes last night, and I'm having a hard time doing anything other than watching the next episodes.

lul okay I'm a lame otaku, so forgive my bad taste.

I'd say Avatar - The last airbender, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Saint Seiya. Maybe Digimon too (one of the most touching plots I've seen).

My favorite so far has to be Mobile Suit Gundam Seed.

My favorite anime would either be Sola or Air. Both are somewhat similar.

A lot of my favorites come from the company Key: Air, Kanon, Clannad...

I also saw one recently called 'Umineko No Naku Koro Ni', I really enjoyed it. 'Bakemonogatari' also seems like it's going to the top of my list.

I remember watching the first couple episodes of Kanon when I first started watching Elfen Lied.

I didn't get the story behind Kanon because I was too busy focused on watching Elfen Lied.

I'm highly fond of Trigun (manga) as well. It most likely has something to do with the dude who lended it to me, and where I read it (dusty, spring-dead middle school soccer fields).

Didn't care for the anime much, but I found this AMV pretty cool:

I would have a hard time picking an absolute favorite...but one that never gets old to me is [as mentioned earlier] Cowboy Bebop.

But right now I'm stuck like glue to Death Note and Basilisk.

Mostly because I can't watch videos online, and these two can be DVR'ed.

Me, I used to like action stuff, like Naruto. I watched the complete anime series, but the second series really ruined everything.

No, I find that I enjoy more intellectual stuff. My favorite being, the Hikaru No Go (Literally, Hikaru's Go) manga. I don't have a favorite anime series, as I don't watch anime much anymore.

But I must point out how amazing Takeshi Obata's illustrations are. I've read alot of manga, and have never seen anything that compares to his work.

He even draws things unrelated to the manga in amazing detail. I.E, cars, buildings, people, food, etc.

EDIT: Ah, I forgot about Ghibli. Yeah, those films go without saying. I love the Ghibli films! I guess that could count as my favorite anime.

Nah. I'm not into psychological horror, although I did glimpse inside on of the books. Looks to me like he's still as good an illustrator as he was then.

I recently started watching Air Gear. The whole stereotypical anime sillyness is balanced well with an interesting plot, I really like it so far.

Also fan service, chicka chicka yeah.

You should always watch subbed anime!

But yeah, most anime is a lot different than their manga and usually worse than the manga.

      i.e. Rosario + Vampire

Manga was great. Had a nice dark feel to it along with some pervertedness to it.

Anime was way too cartoony/cutesy. The "dark" feeling was lost and the pevertedness was ruined when they started the transformation scenes like you see in Sailor Moon.

Negima as well. The manga is really good (though I'm only on volume... 12?), but the anime, from what I saw of it, was absolutely awful.
