I play Il2 1946, a World War 2 Combat flight simulator

It's a very fun game...but you have to actually LEARN how to play this sim, you have to really learn how to fly.

Just borrowed The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena from my brother. This is one of the best games out there IMO. I've played the original before on Xbox so now I need to play through the story again and then start on Assault on Dark Athena.

I've gotten hooked on Caverns of Hammerfest. http://www.hfest.net/

It's basically bubble bobble with with the diablo like addictive thrill of finding random items.

You get limited plays per day, but once you get good, 2-3 accounts makes for more than enough play time. You get 5 plays when you first sign up, then 1 per day (and can win more by playing). You can only play 3 accounts per IP.

There are two random items that appear in each level, be sure to grab them before killing all the enemies. Except for when you find the ring that make three items appear. The more item quests you complete, the more powerful items you will find when you play. And there are lots of them, lots of powerups, some subtly, some major.

Stay out of the parallel worlds and always pick up the hidden coins just because that quest takes so long. Level guides are here http://www.cadomax.com/astuceshammerfest.php

I decided to reinstall Half Life 2 when I came across a mod that totally changes the look and atmosphere of the game: http://cinematicmod.com/cm_10.php. Episode 1 and 2 also included

The only problem is that it's HUGE, and I haven't found any decent download location. Unless I want to pay for a premium rapidshare account.

So, has anyone else got this mod?

I've been re-doing Gran Turismo 4 after letting the game days reach 5 digits, and currently focusing on the Endurance races (right now completed Grand Valley 300km and Tokyo R246 300km). I can't wait for Gran Turismo 5 on the PS3, either (I'm thinking about getting a PS3 one day).

I'm not a huge gamer, but I'm playing Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion because a friend said it was good...and I got hooked.

How much does LOTRO cost anyway? Another friend said that his friend told him that it was better than WoW. I havn't played either, and I was wondering which would be a better entertainment investment. Or should I just stick to the real world? Um, also, how addicting are each of these?

The Fake Factory mod is good, but the character models are total crap. They make Alyx look like a whore >:[

I quite like ODST. The only problems it really had were no matchmaking for Fire Fight and it should have had it's own multiplayer games like Halo 3 does. Other than that I thought it was much better than the other Halo games.
