Also considering Starcraft II, anyone have an opinion?

Sooo some days ago i managed to grab a beta code for Guild Wars 2 I had no money to preorder, but finally i'll be able to play it! I'm waiting for it since 4 years, lol

I'm so excited already Anyone else will play on the beta weekend?

Terraria ... Its like ( and I shouldn't say that) Minecraft meets old school jump 'n run. It kills like time like a freaking TARDIS...

Try Terraria,it should suffice for the time you are waiting - It's just so epic.You can dig down like 100 gazilion blocks and keep going plus a million items,weapons and tools

It's like Starcraft I. If you're willing to devote a lot of time to it you'd probably get into it, but you'd need to make a commitment to learn it first since there's a lot to learn.

I've never played Terraria, but I can't imagine it being very good because it's in 2D.

I really like Terraria but it doesn't have the same replayability like Minecraft does. I always felt like I could 'finish' Terraria, I managed to get all the armour, weapons and accessories I wanted relatively quickly. By that time I'd finished my castle. Never played it again.

I've been playing Minecraft since alpha and still play it today.

I just picked up Starcraft 2 again this week. You do need to learn a little bit of strategy to survive even the lowest ladder league, but once you have your feet under you the matchmaking system does a great job pairing you with people of similar skill. I've never made it higher than gold league (there are two normal and two masters leagues above that) but still really like it. Watch some strategy vids and pro games on YouTube--I like Force. There's a big tournament this weekend, too, though the free streams are kind of a pain.

It's a pretty good time to start, both because I'm pretty sure the game is on sale right now, and a ladder season is finishing up, so you can get a little practice and start at square one with everyone else.

(also, SC2 is the game I've been playing )

The only things I've really been playing is WoW because I'm moving all my other crap to another house, but soon after being moved in I will continue playing Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 offline because I really don't need to be wasting more gaming time on MW3 or Battlefield 3. I have too many games to 'finish' right now.

I'm thinking of going to gamestop today and picking up some older games that have great reviews but I haven't even really played much of because I've never owned them.

The game is fun, but it crashes quite often and framerates are kinda bad too... but yea, this is just a beta, they still have optimization to do

Me too! I read that a lot of people are crashing for some reason. But then again it is just a beta and we are only playing a slice of what the final game will be. All in all I cannot wait for this release.

You guys are making me want to try out guild wars 2, when it comes out, to see what all the hype is about.

No subscription fees, no pay-to-win items, and the events are pretty fun. I've played WoW and such other MMO's but GW2 is crazy fun. Much better than the original GW. And the graphics are pretty nice. There are really no limits to this game. Any race can be any class and you can have multiple talents. You can even go to under water fights and events just by simply swimming. Your skills are based on your weapons and such, so different weapons give you different skill sets. It is much more balanced in terms of player-to-player gameplay, so any level person can play PvP with fairness and world-vs-world events are fun too. If you get tired of PvE, then PvP will not disappoint.

Hah yes, i get those "serious error" reports when i crash... i asked others ingame and they said they crash too :/ Hopefully they fixed it now already since i posted that last message of mine yesterday

Anyway, the game is really fun, even while i was only in the Charr starter area so far. I got so lost in Dynamic Events... and i didn't even check out the whole starter map, only like 1/3 part of it and i "wasted" 2 hours there, lol.
Dynamic Events are the biggest charm for me, that they can happen anywhere anytime and you sometimes don't even expect them to
Yesterday i was walking by a waterfall and checked behind it. There were some skales walking around and i was like "What... no Dynamic Event in this little cave? Well i guess they can't put one everywhere..."
Just as i was about to leave that cave, a skale boss appeared along with an Event to kill him But he was too tough to me so i waited for some other players to help ^^

I started a Charr because i wasn't sure whether i want to play them at all, because their lore doesn't appeal to me too much and Black Citadel is also kinda dark and ugly :/ I'm still not sure, but i'll at least run an alt Charr

I plan to try out Human Guardian or Thief as well during the beta, but i'll just go and continue with my Charr for a while

I'm about half way in Dead Space 2. Going to play Uncharted 2 next

Started Darksiders today The game is not exactly my style... it's too consolish in some aspects and i don't really like the games with this "COMBO X214124215!!!??!+" COMBO COMBO BOSS COMBO #9001!!!4" combat systems.

I'm playing for the story right now, but i might not play for too long, since combat is a heavy aspect of the game..

Been over at my friends house a few times the past week, Playing My Skyrim I gave him, and I made a BA Battle Mage, He is wearing heavy armour, using one-handed and Destruction and Restoration. My Friends are amazed, like they didn't know it was possible.

Ooohhhh They are coming out with some DLC I didn't think it would be that good but my friend made me watch some gameplay videos on g4, it actually looked alright, now I might just have to convince him to buy it.

So, I'm being forced to play WoW. Well, not forced, but someone who's been trying to get me to play for a long time is offering to pay for my subscription, so how can I refuse? God help me.

I've also been playing Skyrim now that I have a computer that can run it well, and some L4D but not nearly as much as I used to, maybe a game per day on average.

Hah yes, Dawnguard I didn't know that they released a video of it yet, but i'll check it out.

If i start Skyrim again then the first thing i'll need to do is update my mods and find new ones too, since when i last played the construction set wasn't available....

Dark Souls. Absolute bastard fun.

I'm currently playing Eternal Darkness, which is a lot more fun than I thought it'd be. Along with that, I'm playing Killer 7 and Final Fantasy X.

Catherine. I played all day yesterday so I would get the True Cheater ending. All day meaning 12-14 hours. I'll play the final stage again later today to get another ending or two. I hate how I feel so compelled to get trophies for meaningless tasks. Logically it's a waste of time, and there is very little satisfaction in doing it. And yet I do them anyway. Not that I would ever bother playing through all of Rapunzel or Babel. I just complete all of the manageable trophies. I'll play Rapunzel some day.
