Omg that scene has my heart racing always, cause he was facing possible rape and death, and those are two of my biggest fears, especially the first...that movie was intense. Almost any movie Denzel Washington does is acting gold, especially American Gangster.

I second Hugh Laurie in House.

I also think Brad Pitt in 12 Monkeys was insanely good. The bit where he's raving about germs and craziness and when he gives the mental hospital tour.

Helena Bonham Carter in every movie she's in.

Oh and Ewan McGregor in Trainspotting.

Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs, Edward Norton in American History X.

      I third Hugh Laurie!
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I'd have to go with Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs.
And now.. for a Stephen Strutmeyer Film...

<3 Nathan Lane, although I think Robin was better in that movie.

      "MementoMori, the lucid machine"

"There's nothing better than knowing what it's like to fly like superman. Being fully aware of the air whipping by you, controlling every movement of every single atom in your body with a single thought. It's real freedom, and there's not a word good enough to describe it, so I'll just call it dreamy for now."
