The U.S. government now has the right to indefinitely detain and even kill U.S. citizens without trial. Yes, that is totally real. The government can do that now. The U.S. is banging on the door to totalitarianism, and if the banging continues long enough, the door will eventually open. If you look at the list of Senators who voted for the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act), you will see that there are D's and R's all over it. I am at a point now where I can't really say what the difference between a Democrat and a Republican is. They are really starting to seem like the same party. Also, the NDAA was signed by Obama, who got elected by people who passionately opposed the Patriot Act. |
