are you so sure? I mean, I was born in the eighties, but I've met a couple of OLD FOLKS who were apart of the new age scene when it was actually....new. and when certain dates werent fullfilled - it was a mental break down. and they have never looked back.

heres another crazy idea other spiritual groups believe that evil entities are disguising themselves as benevolent aliens. their aim? to make spirituality look stupid. so when those prophesies aren't fulfilled, masses walk away from the spiritual path.

it is true, when past new age prophesies weren't fulfilled - suddenly a lot of them either became very strict christians or became atheist. part of the reason why, some older fundies are they way they are is because they saw the new age scene in action - and the cults waiting in the fields to be taken away

not enslavement as much as manipulation.

right now, the american people are being manipulated. for example, we feel we need to buy more than we should have to. a lot of electronics are purposely designed to malfunction, so you spend more money.

Why would they not? perhaps they studdied Earth. We all know they are real unless you're dense and believe every sighting is a hoax. Maybe they have small ships that came here and studied Earth and what we are like/capable of and seen we are still primitive and still don't know if there is life outside. The whole reveeal ourselves part could just mean they wanna check us out, pretty simple.

Not saying i believe the OP on this story, sounds kind of far fetched but...we seem to always laugh at these things. Well considering all the photos/videos of UFOs are shitty in quality and I've seen a TV show that shows the military owns and is capable of flying a "flying saucer" as an experimental aircraft, I see no reason to believe in aliens. Crop circles and bad quality pictures/videos aren't evidence that aliens exist. A little green man that speaks a language that isn't on Earth and is from another planet is evidence.

But about this whole web bot thing (assuming its accurate,) why are we automatically assuming the "catastrophe" is going to be aliens based only on the fact that some quack clairvoyant with a ridiculous name is predicting this? If the bot is predicting something true, don't you think it would be likelier that the "catastrophe" might have something to do with... say... the election? A hurricane? The war? An earthquake? These possibilities seem way more likelier to me.

the web bots are saying 'change' that will cause an emotional high for up to four months. versus 9-11 that caused an emotional high for up to ten days *well according to the web bots that was how long the emotional high would last*

so according to the web bots, october is going to have some sort of global thing that is bigger than anything the web bots have yet to see

the reason why no one is saying the elections is because that is an american thing. where as the web bots are alluding something more global. and its not like we're going to know who the next president is in october!

no one is automatically assuming aliens. of course there are people saying natural disaster. I only brought up aliens because some people have already linked the october event to the bloosom goodchild date. since both are in october, and world wide disclosure would really rock our boat.

again, I can't read what the web bots are saying in detail for the month of october. some people have said it does say "UFO". but I can't confirm that. I only brought it up because of the timing!

I do believe lots of these sopposed dates of aliens apearing, and the end of the world have come to pass throughout history, I know that many of the end of the world dates have. Though I'm quite happy that the new age community stopped being so vague about everything and all pointed to a specific date, but the way I think it happened is that someone thought up the date and made a prodiction then every other lier decided to jump in and predict the same thing.

Just because these people are found out to be liers doesn't mean much to their credibility, there have been psychics like peter popoff who have been found out very logicaly to be hoax's and people still flood to them, because they badly want to believe anything people will tell them, it is human nature.

This is 2008. The earth sucks atm. I am pretty sure any alien would be like "F*** That". If they were going to visit us they probably would have done it during the 80s and 70s when the earth was fun

I agree, any aliens that end up visiting earth definitely missed out on the 70s and 80s. Maybe they're just waiting for us to get our shit together more. Right now, I don't think it would be safe at all for aliens to be on our planet. A lot of people would probably try to kill them, or capture them to do tests. Personally, I'd smoke a bowl with them.

edit-that reminds me...they say they will be here for 3 days, yet they wont give us what we want...a greeting i presume. a lot of people feel that the American government specifically, would feel any aliens coming here as a threat. or rather, they would transform it into a threat to spread fear so that more taxes can go into the military. . .

after reading the website, the idea I got was to simply 'cruise' around earth. probably get attacked by the government. but not attack back - and this was a way of showing the public that they come in peace. No soldier, no plane, would be harmed in the process. And those generals would have to conclude "they come in peace"

from the description, this would be world wide news, and world wide disclosure that extraterrestrials are visiting the earth. And they are NOT attacking. that in itself is enough for most.

according to the website, the aliens have been watching us for a very long time. not because they are just curious, but to figure out the best way to perform first contact. that included - understanding the different nations of the world, how they interact, who's in charge. And most of all, how we would react. For example, would we then tell the aliens "FIX OUR PROBLEMS!" when it isn't their problem or obligation to fix anything??

an intelligent race that has respect for another race would then, respect the leadership and sovereignty of that race. For first contact in america for example, we would eventually have to see the aliens shake hands with the president. because this to americans, would be the highest sign that peaceful first contact has been made to americans.

why isn't this happening yet? for many reasons. Who says just because aliens shake the hands of a president, that any american will ever know about it? There are many reasons why the government would keep this secret. And one of those reasons is religious.

And we all know how religion has infiltrated into the White House. Imagine what the President would have to say to all those fundies "um....there is life in the universe" when according to fundamentalism, there isnt.

Again, if we are holding that these aliens are sentient intelligent, peaceful space age civilization. Then they would have respect for 'differences'. Because any space age civilization can only expect the next race to be 'different'. They would not think it is their right to cause mass panic. If a civilization ISN'T MENTALLY READY to behold the sight of another race, then it would be disrespectful to cause mass panic.

Religion is partly the reason why such extraterrestrials would avoid such first contact. And many religious fanatics are convinced, ANY AND ALL ET'S MUST BE, DEMONS in disguises. There is much more to this demonic view of ETs, including the media, horror movies, and hoaxed demonic alien abductions. That's another topic, but there are people in the world today who really want us to think any and all ETs are just out to get us. Regardless of your religion. The Disclosure Project talks about these hoaxes and the aims of the humans behind them. The aliens would know about these hoaxes, and would have to first fight all misconceptions about aliens that we hold.

The other reason why they don't want to just come out, and 'shake the hand of the president' is because, after watching us they know how destructive and violent governments are. Not necessarily the masses. They know, that many governments would then be interested in alien technology, simply to build destructive weapons. These technologies, which are meant to be peaceful and can end poverty, can be transformed into global devastating weapons. Simply put, THEY DO NOT TRUST OUR GOVERNMENTS. And do not trust to make first contact with those ruling governments of the world, or give them ANYTHING. No sentient intelligent species would give humanity anything. Because anything that they give us can be turned into a weapon. These aliens know all about those hollywood movies with nothing but demonic aliens. They have a lot working against them. Again, according to the website, this would be a ship larger than ever seen before. That is a reference to the UFO community, and what the UFO community has documented as the largest UFOs seen. And the largest UFOs seen in that community were able to cover the entire night sky from an observer on the ground. So we are talking about a ship larger than that. Massive enough to be witnessed by millions at a single time!!!. . in other words. . . DISCLOSURE.

You can call the channeler crazy. But what I enjoy about this prophesy is its honesty and how out in the open the event is. It's not like in the past where a channeler would be "uh, yeah, you can meet aliens. . .in my backyard, in privacy, and it'll cost you $1000". This event can not be hoaxed, and it will not cost a penny. It either is going to happen, or it isn't. . .

If it does not happen then it's all in that persons head that aliens were coming all this time. Anyway, i think it's great the government are keeping (if they are) the existance of aliens secret, it would cause mass chaos around the globe. We have no idea their intentions, alot of people would be scared and stuff, things like this need to be kept secret untill the humans as a whole

Why is America the only nation being courted? I would imagine aliens would find the most advanced government and go there first to make a point. So, I haven't seen any aliens in Sweden lately
