Thread: October 14, First Contact

The thing about this alien october 14th visitation that immediately made me disbelieve it is this. At first the information you posted juorara says yeah they're coming in October. Then I did some more exploring on links throughout youtube connected to the info you posted and the story went from "They're coming..." to "They might come if you want them to..." to "Decide if they should come or not..." so basically this story and it's original purporters have left themselves a safe outlet should nothing happen. Such things used to give me hope but there's no shred of validity to it. However, if this DOES happen...it'll be the happiest time in my life that I was proved wrong.

from what I understand you have to pay money to read the original web bot blogings - the rest of us only get snippets second hand

note: I did say that the web bots are based on patterns in the human language taken from well, people like you and me posting on the internet. if you don't believe the human consciousness has no direct hand in the future *it does affect us indirectly because we can predict future trends* - what the web bot project is really good at however - is showing us what the mass of human consciousness is thinking

well at least first world consciousness - those with access to the internet

and for what ever other wordly reason - our internet voice is voicing, that october is a month of global change!

the web bots deserve their own topic: because it also shows what 'we' are thinking for 2009. and it says CATASTROPHE.

so they are changing the definitive date to maybe, and then, only if you believe? thats disappointing >:/ if you're going to say something! stand by it!

Are you serious? fine, aliens do not exist! we have had no visits and everything the government says is true (ROFL!!). It's so old blaming everything on people, sure people are liars, stupid, etc but there has to be atleast 1 maybe 2 real sightings.

Well considering all the photos/videos of UFOs are shitty in quality and I've seen a TV show that shows the military owns and is capable of flying a "flying saucer" as an experimental aircraft, I see no reason to believe in aliens. Crop circles and bad quality pictures/videos aren't evidence that aliens exist. A little green man that speaks a language that isn't on Earth and is from another planet is evidence.

I bet some of you guys will never believe in anything, even if an alien came out of a spaceship and greeted you in their own language. "Pfft my ass you are real...", i wonder how many people believe aliens are man made and that we are the only ones in the universe?

And since they are UFO's you wouldn't know if those 1 or 2 sightings wasn't anything man-made or the like ^^

Also...this is another fallacy thing. You assert something is true yet we just can not see it, then you create a ficitional story where it actually is true, and we really can't see it, however it is a fictional story that makes a false accusation, which is we are denying it even though it is obvious, however it is not obvious.

I'd expect some sighting to be from a "super duper awesome camera/video camera." Not everyone still owns a shitty camera/video camera. I don't see a need in aliens coming to Earth now so we can see them when they've had the chance in the past.

I'm can imagine something along the lines of Independence Day happening on the 14th. Or at least an alien space ship the size of the mothership. Assuming aliens exist (I believe they do), and have a solid understanding of space travel, they could probably build some huge space ships.

But about this whole web bot thing (assuming its accurate,) why are we automatically assuming the "catastrophe" is going to be aliens based only on the fact that some quack clairvoyant with a ridiculous name is predicting this? If the bot is predicting something true, don't you think it would be likelier that the "catastrophe" might have something to do with... say... the election? A hurricane? The war? An earthquake? These possibilities seem way more likelier to me.

I think if anything, the "catastrophe" will have something to do with the election.

the web bots are saying 'change' that will cause an emotional high for up to four months. versus 9-11 that caused an emotional high for up to ten days *well according to the web bots that was how long the emotional high would last*

so according to the web bots, october is going to have some sort of global thing that is bigger than anything the web bots have yet to see

the reason why no one is saying the elections is because that is an american thing. where as the web bots are alluding something more global. and its not like we're going to know who the next president is in october!

no one is automatically assuming aliens. of course there are people saying natural disaster. I only brought up aliens because some people have already linked the october event to the bloosom goodchild date. since both are in october, and world wide disclosure would really rock our boat.

again, I can't read what the web bots are saying in detail for the month of october. some people have said it does say "UFO". but I can't confirm that. I only brought it up because of the timing!

I do believe lots of these sopposed dates of aliens apearing, and the end of the world have come to pass throughout history, I know that many of the end of the world dates have. Though I'm quite happy that the new age community stopped being so vague about everything and all pointed to a specific date, but the way I think it happened is that someone thought up the date and made a prodiction then every other lier decided to jump in and predict the same thing.

Just because these people are found out to be liers doesn't mean much to their credibility, there have been psychics like peter popoff who have been found out very logicaly to be hoax's and people still flood to them, because they badly want to believe anything people will tell them, it is human nature.

This is 2008. The earth sucks atm. I am pretty sure any alien would be like "F*** That". If they were going to visit us they probably would have done it during the 80s and 70s when the earth was fun

The only reference I can find to this 'web bot project' on the internet is on conspiracy theory type websites and Economic doomsday sites. In fact, almost all references lead back to a site called Urbansurvival.com, which leads me to believe that the whole thing is a hoax cooked up by the creator of that website.
