Yeah, because that's just what's going to happen isn't it? That's just what I'm endorsing? |

The people having kids are making up for the sperm shortage in the U.K. |

How do you know you are not dreaming right now?
Gays are thinning the population through their inability to have kids (naturally, at least). |

Haha man calm down, I get what you're talking about, I'm 15 as well. But thats a decision YOU make. And we disagree with you but whatever you can try to find a wife who never wants children, which, sometimes those wifes who never want children are usually immature enough as it is although there are many exceptions |

I have a dream...
morally wrong? You know it is morally wrong to be a cannibal in our soceities but in some it is not right? Morality is way too subjective to argue so absolutly about. |

Perhaps you've forgotten, but the name of this thread is "why are people still having fucking children?" You've also repeatedly stated in the thread that it is "morally wrong" to have children. It's not exactly a huge leap to conclude that you don't think that people should have children. If this is not the thesis that you are advancing, then you've done a decidedly poor job at explaining your position. |

I believe what Adam was originally getting at is that in 10 years (or less) there is the possibility that you may change your mind in whether or not you want to make a baby. The way you feel about major life changes right now (your future occupation; marriage; plans for retirement) will in all likelihood change as you get older and learn and experience more. It may not, but you can't discount the possibility that it will. |

"If there was one thing the lucid dreaming ninja writer could not stand, it was used car salesmen."
Idolfan, previously I was under the impression that you only wanted to reduce the population to something that could be considered more sustainable and stable, but it appears now that you want to see nothing short of the species going extinct (the outcome of no procreation). Can you clarify your position in respect to that? |
|
Did you ever once consider that it isn't morally wrong to procreate, but it is wrong to not take responsibility for a child you brought into the world? What you're saying is that it's wrong to create your own child that came from you that you get to teach and guide through life, but it is right to adopt another person's child or not have a child. Therefore, people should choose the latter instead of going with the option that appeals to them most. It isn't morally wrong to have children, it's morally wrong to have children you can't care for (rape victims excluded). |

naturals are what we call people who did all the right things accidentally
Nature has it's own built-in system for solving overpopulation without killing off the entire species. Google "carrying capacity". |
