I am not sure about that. My dreams do not connect when it happens, and I can also control my dreams at times when I know I am dreaming.

I don't know what my experience would be called but one night I kept waking up in bed and then running for the door and then get shot back to my body only to wake up again and run for the door again, then after multiple times getting shot back I started to become more afraid each time and I realized every time I ran for the door I left my body on the bed, and then tried to leave after opening the door and get shot back into my bed into my body. That happened seven or eight times in a row until I finally woke up for real and ran out the door successfully.

Another incident like that happened before the one above where I kept falling off my bed like wet noodles. It was like I had no bone or muscle in my body, just skin and landed on the floor with no form, just a pile of myself and then suddenly shot back into my body that was sleeping on it's back and and arms down to the sides then spilled over the edge of the bed again, thudded on the floor hard and shot back up into my straight on its back body, and that happened four or five times until I woke up for real and made sure I could sit up with bone and muscle and not spill.

I've had other scenarios of this same thing happen also..weird :/

Call upon us, we can try to get in there and help get rid of that issue maybe?

Yeah, very. In mine, it's different dreams I wake up in. However, I have had some where I think I am awake and then I feel this horrible presence. I try to yell, but I can't. I can't even move. That's about the worst my dreams have been. I looked that up along time ago and they are called "Night terrors.".

As I posted I don't dream of violence, but when it does occur, somehow I end up making friends with the person after me, as I have no capability of hitting someone. I cannot throw a punch in a dream for some reason.

      Weird stuff. You aren't alone.

Last night I had 4 different dreams. The 3rd one with false awakening. It was very interesting. But none of them was lucid.

My dad said he would not stop having false awakenings to the point that he started getting worried and thought "what if this never ends?"
Which is an extremely scary thought. I mean what if you were in a coma and that just kept happening to you? A terrible fate...

You mean there is no such things as layers, or that you believe there is no such things as layers?
Because if you read that there is no such things as layers, you should read some more.
But if you saw the movie inception and didn't believe it, I think your'e right.

"The brain is an analog computer..." I think you overestimate computers and completely misunderestimate the brain.

      Here is what I believe:
      The brain regulates the body.
The mind is not in the body.
The body is in the mind.
And the mind is in the soul.

If not, all this would all be just a complete unfixable overchaotifing cruel mess.
      IMHO

I agree I don't think there's layers to it. I think it works like the recurring dreams (such as being in a car going off a cliff, then jumping back to where you were in the car and go off the cliff again, etc.) that it kinda repeats. You aren't really waking up in a dream you just swap. Dreams do that, change before your eyes. I've had it happen to me...one moment I'm in a pool next I'm leaning over a bed...

I am interested in this subject. What are you basing your conclusions on?

Three, when I was a kid, I had a dream with two false awakenings followed by my actual awakening.

I'm glad I found this thread, I really thought I was the only one who could do this. I'm happy I am not the only one though. back in 2009 is when I had my first two level dream, after that I started getting into it an finding out all of these CRAZY things that dreams could do; I started Writing two long books about all my expiriences and theories. About two years ago, I don't know what I did differently that night but I managed to have a 6 layer dream that lasted about two and a half years, it was one of the worst times ive ever had in my life, it was so barren and empty. Other than that, two layer dreams are just normal for me, and I get a 3 layer dream every few months and one night about three years ago I had a 5 layer dream that lasted almost 65 years! that was quite a trip! but yeah this is awesome, your guys' experiences are very similar to mine. this is always very interesting to talk about.

Three. Dreamed loads of stuff, woke up and couldn't remember any of it. Then woke up from that dream and went to write about it on a forum: "Not only is it a meta dream, it's a boring meta dream!". And then I woke up for real.
