Yeah I was thinking about putting "Am I Dreaming" on the top arch of my foot, or somewhere below my current peice on my calf. |

That would be an interesting idea, putting "Am I dreaming" somewhere. I think I decided to stay away from a quote and stick to one word, "Lucid." I feel like it would have the same effects on my state of consciousness if I were to dream about it, and it's simple yet meaningful to me. I want it to start as a heart monitor EKG with a few blips that trails off into a big cursive "L" followed by the rest of the "ucid" in some script I haven't chose yet. I was thinking of it going down my tricep so it just barely shows when I'm wearing a short sleeve shirt. Maybe my second one will be a longer quote. |

Yeah, thank you. I should probably ask more people. The test I'm using to see if this is a good tattoo is to sketch it on paper and tape it right next to my pillow on the wall so I can see it everyday. If in 6 months I still love it, then I feel like that's enough reason to go through with it. I agree with what you said about Spongebob, but at the same time tattoos are supposed to be snapshots of your life. So even if the design does get old, it was still a reflection of YOU when you go it. Not to say anyone should rush it, it does have to be something close to your heart. |

I could draw one for you if you wanted an image like someone suggested. Or even the EKG thing. I've drawn a couple before for people and they said it's exactly what they wanted. |

You could get a quote in weird hieroglyphics that you make up to symbolize the way letters appear when you're dreaming. |

It was the best of times. It was the end of times.
