That last one's my favourite. I think it'd look great as a tattoo, seeing as most lucid dreams often involve making the impossible possible. I got them from various websites - this one has a plethora of quotes that you might want to look over.

Make sure you agree with the quote and have thought hard about it, since it's a tattoo and you'll have it until you die. Sometimes in life I come to realizations about something, philosophical understandings about the world, only to later change my mind about it because I've philosophised even more deeply about it and realized it isn't entirely true. I'm just thinking it would be bad to get a tattoo like that and later disagree with its message.

I'm thinking of the one in your signature. Make sure you understand its non-literal-dream meaning and agree heavily with it and make sure you think about it completely before you decide you do. It seems it might be relating life to a dream, possibly in a close-to-literal sense, like some Bhuddist message. Or maybe metaphorically, it's saying we get into cycles and live our lives 'asleep' in a sense, failing to wake up to truths about reality, whatever those are. And it is 'truer' (meaning better, more genuine?) to 'wake up' and realize the truths, get out of our mundane cycles, etc.

Not really a quote that I would suggest you get, but my friends ex got "Hope can make your dreams a reality" tattooed on her back a few months after they broke up. We both had a good laugh at it.

Hope you can? That's horrible. Maybe if it said, "Make your Dreams Reality... or Dreams Are Real, or Dream Is Life..." but that phrase sounds like a slogan for Hello Kitty bubble gum.

I really like this quote from WakingNomad's Shared Dreaming tutorial:

Maybe it's not what you are looking for, though, as I don't think people reading it will immediately associate it with dreaming or LDs unless they can relate to it themselves.

@OP. Have you thought about getting an image instead? Are there any really weird/cool things you've seen in a dream that would like to get a tattoo of? I think a picture would be cooler than a quote, and it would be more personal as well.

The problem is I can't sketch it out myself, and I would have a hard time describing the details to an artist. I feel that nothing can be drawn as perfectly as I see it in dreams, you know?

Yea, it would have to be something simple. If I ever get a Tattoo it would be of a bonfire with bubbles fuming from the top rather than smoke. I saw this on my hardest Acid trip at a music festival and it would be pretty easy for a tattoo artist to replicate. If you pulled an image from a dream it would have to be something simple yet meaningful.

I have always wanted to get a tattoo that says "Am I Dreaming?" because when i got my huge tattoo on my leg, i had MANY a dreams about it lemme tell you. I can only imagine if i tattooed "Am I Dreaming" How many times I would have became lucid! Probably everynight because I think about my tattoo a lot, so naturally I would be Lucid dreaming a lot. I stilll might get it. I just dont know where yet, or if that would be something I would regret. Another tatto I want to get said "The dream world is the real world' There is a LOT of meaning behind that quote. another quote I love is "As long as you do not know how to die and come to life again, you are a sorry traveler on this darth earth" I love this because a lot of people theorize that dreaming is the sistertwin to dying. Having an OOBE is like being able to die but being able to return to the body. People who do not explore this part of their selves are not living the amazing life we know we can life.
