Ever Become An Inanimate Object In A Dream?

I really want to know if anyone has become something other than human or animate in a dream. Perhaps a tree, a wall, the sky?

Or could you do it in a lucid?

I've definitely been something other than human... though what that was I'm not sure exactly. Inanimate, I don't know about that... though I have had some strange third-person experiences.

And though I haven't become inanimate in a dream per se, I have experienced it before, so you can definitely do it in a lucid. (You can do anything in a lucid! )

Yep. It was one of my more memorable experiences. This was one of those hyperrealistic lucid dreams, where the colors were very saturated, and everything just felt so "real"...but I didn't have any control, nor did I decide to even have such a dream, it just happened. Like a gift from the subconscious.

It was raining. I was a drop of water that was dangling over the edge of the top of a telephone poll near a lush forest. As the water drop, I began running down the side of the telephone poll for several inches, then came off the pole and free fell the rest of the way down. It was so beautiful, and since I was so tiny, everything seemed to happen as though it was in slow motion as I was falling. I remember the vividly saturated green plants turning into a blur in the background as I fell, I remember the smell of the wet forest, and the cool air rushing past me. I felt so happy, unfettered, and careful. Then suddenly...SPLAT...I hit the ground and felt my being expand outward into a fluid puddle, as I joined some of my droplet friends on the ground.

In a non lucid once, I became a wall along with my brother. It is kinda.. immobile. you don't feel much. And you have a slightly flatter point of view over a little more space than with human eyes >__<

Yes! I remember one dream where I was at Subway and became a knife. The employees were using me to cut the sandwiches.. Probably one of the weirdest dreams I have ever had. I prefer being an animated object, though.

I vaguely remember it happening in non-lucid dreams. It's uncommon though, but it definitely is possible. It was pretty strange every time. Sometimes, I have dreams where I am not really myself or anything. Just flashing images of stuff, it's hard to describe. Like sometimes, I have no awareness and the dream is just scenery, often very strange stuff. Like a few times I have just been absent with images of landscapes and/or strange liquid quasi fractal like patterns oscillating. That's the weirdest of them, I have to say.
