      Exclamation Dream Fragments and Dreamless Nights

      Okay...I have a problem. I have ALWAYS had dreams. Like every single night I've had dreams until recently.

      Recently, I've had NO dreams or LOTS of dream fragments. I haven't had an actual dream in 2 weeks and I'm starting to worry.

      Can someone please help me?

      The only things I can think of that are the things different about my house are:
      - I've been sleep deprived lately
      - My house's air conditioning is out, so it's really hot

      Thanks for listening.

      Can anyone tell me what I can do to get my dreaming back on track?

      Having a consistent sleeping schedule is very important. If your bed time deviates a lot, dream recall will too. You can also use a mantra "I remember my dreams" during the day and at bed time. Hope that helps!

      Sleep deprivation will cause problems with dream recall. On the bright side, you've now set yourself up for some great REM rebound if you can get a good night's sleep. The best way for it to produce great results is to wake up on your own schedule.

      Hopefully such a day will present itself very soon.

      I might also suggest drinking a glass of milk 30 to 45 minutes before bedtime. It can help with rest.

      And I will additionally suggest not looking at TV for 30 to 60 minutes prior to bed and turning the lights low during the same period. This helps with normal melatonin production and is likely to aid in good sleep.

      Get some rest!

      To add to Melanieb's advice:

      - No exercise after evening;
      - Fix that air conditioning or open a window, the air and freshness of your room is relevant to your sleep's quality
      - 1 hour before going to bed, stop with the "action". Try meditating a bit, listening to some music, day dream about your lucid dream intentions, and like Melanieb said, turn the lights low! I like to reserve 20 minutes before bed purely to stretching and relaxing ^^

      Also, sometimes putting alarms for little WBTB (only a minute or two) helps with dream recall, as you become more aware throughout the night due waking up several times. And always write something in your DJ, even if you didn't recall a single piece of any dream!
