Thread: What do you like to dream about?

1. Apocalyptic dreams with awesome plots, chase dreams, being a cartoon character, and having epic fights. (There are probably more but I can't recall any at the moment.)
2. Some more apocalyptic dreams would be nice, and more adventurous ones.

Oh yeah oh yeah, I forgot the epic post-apocalyptic ones.

1. Normally, my dreams have something to do with exploration - I'm always in some sort of new area, which prompts me to search and adventure. Occasional action-y stuff (I.E. stealing something, being chased), as well.

2. I'd love to have more serene dreams - the ones where you just look up at a planet-filled, bright sky, for example. That, and also some crazy arena-styled battles would be neat, too.

For normal dreams....I don't mean to sound like a sterio-typical pig of a man....but Oink Oink: I love dreaming about sex.

For LDs: I try to avoid sex. I want to do amazing things, like flying, exploring, interacting with DCs.

Hi Scionox. Your avatar showed up in one of my dreams last night. It chased away my wife, Brad Pitt and some other guy.

1. Quite a lot of my dreams involve flying or using some kind of neat superpower, like telekenis and such. I love these dreams. Probably my favorite thing I like to dream about.
2. I want to go on a long, really epic fantasy or sci-fi adventure of some sort.

You mean except for the obvious ones, like flying and sex?

Well I actually tend to feel very inspired by Quale's ideas in her YouTube video "Lucid Inspiration (a few of my lucid dreaming experiences)";
mixing your senses and transforming into rain sound like very interesting experiences.

My favorite dreams are any dreams that make me feel empowered. Lucids in general always fall into this category because I feel empowered by the mental achievement of managing to realize that this is a dream. However, I have had empowering non-lucids. For example, one time kidnappers tried to take my kids, and I fought off the bad guys with my amazing martial arts skills. Or a nonlucid dream where I dreamed I was connected to like an electric web of sort, and I figured out what it was all about, and I changed the current, and the high priests who rules my world were coming to get me, but I knew they couldn't do anything against me.

This is a really good point. Definitely my favorite dreams are the ones where I'm "me" and I'm confident in my actions and take control, lucid or not.
