I tell my mom about my most vivid dreams, and I tell her about my lucid dreams. One time I read my dream journal to her, and she thought it was interesting. So now she's starting her own dream journal. |

When I first discovered the wonders of Lucid Dreaming, my immediate reaction was to tell my parents about it... |

.
I talked to my mother about it before. She expressed a bit of interest and said that shes had them before and still does from time to time. Never discussed it too in depth though. |

Yea for the most part my parents think its kinda crazy and im weird for doing it. |
|
my mother was concerned that this was some occult art. After I explained to her what it was she laughed at me. My father mentioned that he had a lucid dream a few times and then tries to get himself to wake up. |
|
everybody in my family knows that i lucid dream and they think its really cool. My parents really enjoy hearing about my lucid experiences, and think its amazing that i can do it, i think its cause their a lot more open minded. my dad always tells me to learn how to astral project cause he wants me to spy on barack obama and the new world order to find out what their planning ha! |

"How can you be aware that you're dreaming, if you're never aware that you're awake?"
My sister does sometimes, she's one of those natural LD'ers but she hasn't learned to take control for some reason. My brother doesn't know that I'm doing this and I havn't spoken to him about it and my dad isn't that interested but he thinks I'm kinda weird for trying to do it. |
|
I try to tell my sister and my mom about it, but they don't care much. Whenever I tell my mom all about my progress and weird dream experiences, she doesn't say a damn thing. They must think I'm going off the deep end or something. |

DILDs: A Lot
Of course they do! My brother is a natural though, but thats another story <.< |
|
My family thinks I'm going insane and will hurt myself because of it. But I don't care. I'm still going to do it. You can't hurt yourself. |

its sad how humans have forgotten their own human nature and their connection to nature. i know people who say they never have dreams even though they do they just dont remember, what a boring sleep time! just dreams by themselves should be fascinating to everyone, i mean every night you enter an alternate dimension where some crazy shit can happen! humans are meant to dream and interact with their dreams, why else would the human body and even animals have the defense mechanism of sleep paralysis so that our dreams dont awaken us, its cause dreams are the secret to life! |

My father does, and often he talks to me about them. |

The Phosphorus of the imagination, abandoned to all the caprices of over-excited and diseased nerves, fills itself with Monsters and absurd visions.
I have only told my brother and sister, and it is so annoying because my sister thinks it is fake, and my brother thinks its retarded. I do not understand them at all. |
|
My dad does it almost whenever he dreams...my mom is the exact opposite. |

Lucid goals:
Fight a Godzilla like monster
{}Transform
{}Go to a new universe
{}Use unbelievably powerful telekinesis to morph/destroy the world
{}Have a second life that spans four dreams
Watcha think^?
I find myself constantly wanting to tell my parents about "my latest lucid dream", but they're like, "I don't want to hear about that". ^^; |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

No they don't but my mum likes to listen but my dad hates it for whatever reason, he hates any talk of dreams |
|
No, I never really talked about it with my family. My parents would probably think I'm weird though but wouldn't care at all. My brother might like it though, but I don't see him often. |

I'm sure I've told my parents, but I'm unloading quite a lot of them |

My wife LDs naturally and enjoys it. I've told her if she made some deliberate effort she could be LDing every night but she's scared if she makes any effort she'll lose the ability. |
|
Yeah, that's what I keep telling her, but she just won't listen. Her nightly routine consists of watching TV reruns on her portable DVD player, listening to music, and doing crosswords, and she's more than reluctant to change this. She also claims her memory "isn't good enough" to do RC's during the day. |

Everyone ive told about lucid dreaming either thinks it doesnt exist, thinks it does but doesnt understand the point in doing it or they just dont care. I havent actually met anyone who can lucid dream...its hard enough to find people interested in normal dreaming. Ive even had people tell me, "i dont go to sleep to dream, i go to sleep to rest and dont want to waste my time dreaming". A commen trend is ive found when explaing to someone how to LD is as soon as they hear the word 'effort' they kinda switch off and think it's a waste of time. |
