      How to Control

for when I do manage to become lucid:

how do you control things? I hear a lot of stories about people failing to fly or something.

Cant you just say "I want to fly" and be able to?

You can say things like that but make sure you have a strong belief behind what you say.

In my experience with flying and other things, thinking about how I'm are going to do it just hinders my ability. When you have your lucid dream just do it, don't think about how to do it or practicing it just do it. This always works for me so I hope it will work for you.

      This basically.

Yes you can imagine jet packs, take flying pills, modify the gravity, position your body in a certain way etc, but all this is doing is adding unnecessary steps.

All those steps do is allow for belief that you can fly, when you can just skip that and fly. Its a dream, you can do whatever you want. Nothing is stopping you. Just fly: don't think about how you are going to do it, just to it and it will work.

The other night I was flying in circles, zooming at high speeds just skimming the ground. It didn't even occur to me that it wouldn't work.

On a different night, I thought "I hope this will work." I could barely get off the ground. The hope that you will fly must be offset by the belief that it is likely you won't. The belief is what manifests. Just know.

That's absolute BS. Dream control has nothing to do with belief or expectations.
