      Dreams carrying over to WL

so, I have always kinda wanted to have this problem, if you could call it that.
but now that it has happened more than twice...i want to know if its common.

I'll have dreams of things, nowadays that are realistic (before they were really, really far out there)
and wake up, go through my day believing that it was real.

      for example:
last night i had a dream i looked at the inside of my new pair of jeans, and there were four adjustable waistbands inside on each corner.
when i woke up, put them on (much later in the day, like 3 hours after waking....slow start i know

i put them on then looked for them. thinking.....where are they?
then i realized it was a dream.
      with lucid dreaming in mind,

Well it doesnt happen to me often. But yes that does happen. especially when i have a dream RIGHT before i wake up. And yeah one time i had a dream that my little sister had a B day party and there were banners and balloons all over the kitchen but when i got home from my grandmas i said wow you guys really cleaned this up fast. My mom looked at me real weird and then i relized that my sisters B day wasnt for another 3 Months....

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

Lol, this used to happen to me sorta often. I'd dream something awesome, for example getting a lot of money, then wake up and look for it. Then I'd just be like GODDAMMIT, it was a dream!

No. I generally have a solid grasp on reality.

For instance, that miniature purple elephant who lives on top of my shoe and sings Journey songs to me: totally a hallucination.

Hahaha I have dreamt so many times that i woke up and got a new videogame and spent a whole day playing it then I went to sleep. Then I wake up for real not realizing that the day before never really happened even though I could remember the game and even what I ate that imaginary day. I go and look for the game but cant find it anywhere. I have spent a long time looking for games that I dreamt that I had.
I accept that my reality is always a dream so if something changes I know I'm right.

LOL, this happens to me ALL the time..

I mistake my Dream Memories for my Waking life.. It's really funny..

My worst case of this ever; was when I had a dream that I had superpowers and woke up.. A little while later, I ended up thinking to myself: "What the hecks gone wrong with my superpowers... This totally sucks!"

The worst bit was I was really surprised when my "powers" didn't work.. .. (Imagine my surprise when I realised the truth, )

You arent the only one. Back when I was first experimenting with telekenisis in my LDs I had a realistic regular dream where I was using telekenisis. I believed that it was real in the dream and I woke up thinking that I had the powers. The shock when my remote didnt fly to my hand as I called out to it

I get this all the time too. I often false awaken, dream I've written my previous lucid in my journal and then really wake up. I've been known to turn the air blue when I look at my journal and see nothing written!

A lot of the time, I dream about what I do on nights out. ie- drink loads, party, have drunken conversations. Sure, dreaming about parties is fun, but due to alcohol in real life and the hazy memories of dream parties, I end up with exactly the same type of memories from both situations. I vaguely remember conversations that may or may not have happened, and remember a kebab I may or may not have eaten. The dreams often come back to me during the next day just like drunk memories too.

I laugh every time I realise it was a dream when I wandered the streets looking for food at 3am, or set the floor on fire with my moves. It never causes any real problems, and I've learned to disregard those memories unless somebody else verifies them.

Haha this brings back memories. My first time was when I was a lot younger and dreamt of getting a new cellphone. Of course after looking for it all day it was nowhere to be found...
