Not being able to open my eyes? Help?

Okay so occasionally I get these dreams where my eyes will not open all the way or sometimes not even at all. It gets very frustrating not being able to see clearly in a dream like I'll try to force open my eyes and I'll get them open halfway then they just close again and one time when I tried to open my eyes it was like looking through water and my eyes were stinging so much -___- So if anyone could help me with this it would be very appreciated.

Are you aware of your body while this is happening?

Sometimes spinning or rubbing your hands together helps for me.

This happened to me today in my LD. What I did is first try to pry my eyes open with my non-physical hands and once that didn't work then I just imagined what would be in front of my and that seemed to work

That happens to me too, sometimes. It's the most annoying thing that's ever happened to me during LDs, and I often give up trying to open them, just wandering around the dream until I wake up. Either my eyes are half-closed, only one eye is open, or my eyes are both closed (in that case, I still "know" where everything is but without being able to see them).

I tried this once and it didn't work for me, but maybe it'll work for you: ask the dream for permission to open your eyes. Or, try relaxing and not worrying about your eyes. Create a new dream scenario that will take your mind off your eyes and help you focus more on the scenery around you.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Uh, I wonder, has anyone tried putting on glasses to help with the vision? That is quite the common way to go about it and solve the problem <.<

I'm completely aware that I'm dreaming most of the time so I'll try doing the rubbing your eyes or spinning things, thanks! Oh and even if this doesn't really relate to the topic I'm just gonna say that clapping helps strengthen your dreams. I don't know why but one time I tried it when this dream was fading and it worked lol
