      I can't become lucid. help.

Yesterday night, I was in a dream and then I thought "wow this is an awesome dream, this is probably a lucid dream" then i try to become lucid but everything becomes black and this is followed by a false awakening.
this night almost the same happened. i was flying but then i wanted to have more control so i realized i was dreaming and everything became black again. i tried to open my eyes but i couldn't after pulling very hard i started to see some things. i was laying in a bed in a hospital...
i want to become lucid and do whatever i want and see very detailed scenery. any advice?

It seems you already are in a lucid dream which is great. Only you can´t make them last. I don´t know how to make them last longer.

If you hate being lucid than get off this site. At least stop posting because whatever you say is not going to be accepted by theese people who love lucid dreaming

I am not here to be accepted by anyone to be honest. I am here to put my opinion across that I don't find anything about lucid dreaming, flying, raising above the bloody bed, and talking to bloody alien like creatures a good experience, That's my opinion.

Well, if getting lucid gets you into a FA, start RCing whenever you have a FA? That should solve the problem.

I will say it for you, you don't HAVE to fly, raise above the bed or smell the breaths of beasts in a LD, if you end up doing it, that is your fault.

I had a similar problem, whenever I realized I was in a dream I would wake up.

What helped me the most was to just chill for a second, I look at things around me and do RC's. I also walk around slowly, it helps.

Your problem sounds similar to what I used to have and if you're anything like me don't close your eyes in the dream and be sure to focus on a simple task at first, like walking down the street to the end of the block or something.

Overall try to chill and start slow. I know its just simple advice but it's what worked for me, I hope it helps. good luck!!

Lucidolodgy? if so than dont buy it. Also the best way to get back into an LD is not moving. IE DEILD

Not moving is a myth, for DEILD you can move, just not much, the biggest problem is opening your eyes I think.

spinning doesnt work, i won't even spin. as soon as i realize i am dreaming, everything turns black, resulting in waking up or a FA. i get no time to look at details in the environment because it is already black. i then feel like i am something between awake and asleep. its hard to explain.
the fact that this happens is probably something good so i should just keep practicing i guess

I am thinking alot of posters here are getting confused between sp and lucid personally. I get both so I know what they are but some are thinking lucid is same as sp it's not , way big difference.

I dunno if you're being sarcastic but anyway you should never mean what you said "Its hard to control it" , no its easier than you think buddy !
Just don't let any negatives get on your way .
      good luck .

You should practice doing RC's whenever you wake up and maybe you'll catch some False awakenings

Can you try to remember your dream surroundings and focus on them? For me trying to interact with my dream in anyway helps me to stay in it.
How long do you have in your dream before it goes black?

Well idk about you (everyone is differient) but i cannot move at all, or open my eyes, Most of my LD's are DEILD but if you can move and it still work for you than congrats

You might be a little more experianced for me or maybe your body works a little differient. Maybe its just because i have it in my mind that im not allowed to move.

Hm, so it becomes black, I wonder if you could try imagining a new scene?

Not confusing anything, raising above bed/flying seems to be a special SP you have, which could be overlooked by closing your eyes and falling asleep faster, once you are in a lucid (The breath beast part) you could simply avoid talking to them, you have yet to say they are agressive, so I don't see the problem with ignoring them, at all. If not, then it is your fault for not explaining properly your problem and instead jumping to insult everyone <.<

mollymo, it is very hard not to read your posts as you have pasted your opinions everywhere within sight on this thread. Also, you have posted on a thread asking for help, you should not go off topic and try to change catzisconfus's opinions like that. If you are not going to give help and be negative, then start your own threads.
