Ah, you are mistaking something, lucidty does not equal control, you are lucid if you know it is a dream, while dreaming. |

Recently I have been having many dreams in which in the dream I would notice a dream sign and say to myself "Okay I'm dreaming, now I can become lucid." Normally when this happens people do gain lucidity but for me nothign happens. I gain no control over them whatsoever, it's as if i'm dreaming that i'm lucid dreaming. These arent lucid dreams, but they should be because I realize i'm dreaming. How can I get over this problem? |

Ahh I see.. thank you. |

You have to expect to have control. Let go of common sense and previous conceptions about how people, physics, etc. This can be a tricky thing to do, as you've never really lived in a world where you have complete control over everything. |

With my experience, I found out that if I was even remotely skeptical if I could do something in my lucid dream, it would never work. You really do have to believe that you will perform a task... as cliche' as it sounds. |

Lucid goals: Fight and kill Jacob Black [X], Go trick or treating as a wolf [ ], Help a pack stalk and hunt a large extinct game animal [ ], Play fetch with a DC [ ], Become a shape-shifting spy deployed behind enemy lines [ ], Face and fight off a nightmare as a wolf [X], After transformation look in mirror and really observe every detail about my body [ ]
i dont know about anyone else, but i find that when im lucid dreaming i only need to think of something to happen and it does. The other day i turned my whole city into clouds which was a little frightening because they were so realistic that i temporarily forget i was dreaming and i thought i would fall to my death, but i dont usually have to speak in my dreams to make things happen, just think them. |
