How important would you say keeping a DJ is when it comes to lucid dreaming? I haven't written in it for a while and I was wondering if it would help me lucid dream more often. In the past 5 months I've only manged to have 4 lucid dreams. |

At least a 6 but then again, I haven't kept one myself... I think using an App on your phone or writing certain dreams down in a file on your computer works just as well. You don't always have to write down every single dream but it couldn't hurt. In my experience it's more for understanding and recognizing your dream signs! -Chase |

I think it depends on what method you are using to become lucid. I've been able to WILD pretty consistently without a DJ, but I actually just started one up today to try to get more consistent DILDs. I also think the importance of it depends on your recall. If you have low recall than a DJ is very important, but if you have really good recall than it might not be needed. |
|
Yeah what they said. It you think your recall needs some improvement then I would recommend keeping a DJ; it can also help identify your dream signs. Can't really give you a number though, it depends on where you're at. |
|
You didn't say how good your recall is. Some are lucky enough to have great recall without a DJ. For the rest of us, I'd say a DJ rates a 9. |
|
I'd say a 9/10 for recall and recall is important for Lucid Dreams, but I guess if you just think about your dreams a lot to remember them it could work. So maybe 8/10. |
|
I'd say 5/10 for lucid dreams and 9/10 for general recall. |
|
perfect 10. there's nothing more important. |
|
10. |

10 all the way. |

I keep my dreams in a computer but I write them down hours after i woke up.I realised that the important thing is to write them down as soon as you wake up.So I write them in a piece of paper when i wake up and then file them in my pc.Also today i had 4-5 dreams 2 of them lucid but I only wrote down 1 non-lucid and 1 lucid and now i remember only these 2.So for me a dream journal is a 10. |

Behind those eyes
The vivid scene ,A lucid dream within
Questioned secrets are revealed
And everytime
You can't deny
The lines that trace your skin
Wounds that never heal
Well, for recall it's atleast an 9/10. Unless you can go through the entire dreams several times in your head and pick up details, you need a DJ. To induce lucids I'm not sure, the DJ keeps me motivated enough to get lucid, so it's important for me. Now here's the MOST important thing about it all. As you all know, dream memory fades and soon you can only remember certain dreams. Why I think writing them down is very important is to relive those dreams. Just like pictures of a party or special occasion, you relive the moment through them. |

10! Definately 10! If you can't remember the dream, then you obviosly won't have a lucid dream. |

dream recall 10/10! but DJ is a little more dependant on your natural dream recall ability, if its low get a DJ, if its high, don't worry about a DJ |

They say dreaming is dead, no one does it anymore.
It's not dead it's just that it's been forgotten, removed from our language.
Nobody teaches it so nobody knows it exists.
The dreamer is banished to obscurity.
Well, I'm trying to change all that, and I hope you are too.
By dreaming, every day.
It highly depends on the person. For me I'd say 8/10. Not only does DJing help with recall, but it also serves as an indication of personal motivation. When you DJ, you tell your inner self that you value your dreams and your progress in getting lucid. This is what helps tremendously, in my opinion. |

for lucid dreams themselves...like a 6. For dream recall and general enhancement of dreaming, an easy 10. I used to keep mine and I got to 2 dreams a night quite frequently, I stopped for a bit and I'm down to once a week. Its huge in terms of recall. |
