      Best lucid dream method?

Hey, I've been curious what lucid dream induction method is best? What method causes the longest and most vivid lucid dreams and why?

I hear WILD, because you lucidly enter the dream from the beginning after getting sleep beforehand (which makes REM longer). But I'm inexperienced, so I'm not the best source.
I don't usually think, therefore I mostly am not.

Wake Back To Bed (WBTB) paired with WILD or MILD is the best method. It is the most reliable, and produces the most vivid dreams because of the reasons kookyinc mentioned.

There is no best method. Things work differently for different people.
Try WBTB and MILD, like RB said. Just have confidence, and patience. Try dream incubation too

All of the methods are capable of giving you long and vivid dreams. You should focus on the technique which comes easiest to you. I recommend attempting DILDs as a newbie, then working your way up to WILDs. I think a lot of people come here and expect instant results with WILDs, then they leave after little to no success with them because they get frustrated.

It's a technique that requires some finesse, and that's where the trouble lies. People want direct answers, and concrete ways of doing things. So when they can't get a WILD after multiple attempts, they start asking even more questions and then finally make a thread announcing that they lost motivation. Read up on the different variations of the technique (there is no shortage of threads about it), then practice.

This pretty much comes down to what works best for YOU. Me? Naps are the most effective techniques. WILD'ing when taking a nap. I succeeded at my first try when trying to WILD when taking a nap (yesterday actually) and I was amazed at how easy it was. So experiment and see what works best for you

And remember, never ever doubt yourself!

First i wake up at 5 AM. Then i go outside and make sacrifices to the mighty lucid dream god and do the speacial lucid dream ritual dance. The next thing i do is that i go inside make a circle of lucid dream marbles, take off my shirt, paint my self with symbols of the lucid dream and then i sit in the circle chanting about lucid dreaming. When it is 6 AM i stop and preform a WILD. WILDs are the bomb, but it really depends on the person. SOme people have trouble with WILDs and prefer dream induced LDing.
Try not. Do or do not. There is no try.

Wbtb and mantra meditations. mantras before bed are gd because its like your communicating with your mind directly and telling it what you expect to happen. do the mantra meditation correctly and you will be with out fail. namaste.
