I definitely have dreams like this; I act as if I'm lucid but I'm not actually aware. It's as if the lucidity is part of the dream plot, which plays out like I am in fact lucid. It's definitely a good sign that you've got awareness on your mind! |

Lately, I've been having lots of dreams wherein I'm fully conscious - making decisions and actually completely aware that what I'm in is a dream, but I haven't been taking control of them. I've just been passing it off as 'Oh yes, it's a dream it won't matter if I steal this car/light that house on fire/sleep with th-' I think you get the point. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Yeah i get these too..actually had a dream like this 2 days ago..will post it tomorrow, when i wake up i want to kick myself for not realising, it's very annoying when you look back lol I once said "I'll just pee in this bottle and no one will know, they will just think it's part of the dream plot" yet I didn't get proper Lucid yet I was lucid a little enough to know there would be no effects to me from doing what i did lol |

LUCID GOALS
1) Meet DG
2) Speak with my Granparents
3) Ride a Unicorn
4) Board the Titanic ((changed with thanks to Caretaker))
When I fall asleep and start dreaming, more often than not its a lucid dream (because I always realise that I am in a dream world). Thats why I don't fully understand - when you say you're not in control of the dream, would you describe yourself as being a mere observer to the actions of your body? |

Yes, I do experience this. Sometimes my dreams have two sections - in the first half exciting things happen and in the second half I'm reviewing the earlier part of the dream with DCs and saying things like, "Wasn't that earlier lucid dream great?" I never become properly lucid; it's almost as though I say, "Yes, it's one of those lucid dreams I try to have. No need to RC!" |
