Hm... that would be difficult to avoid, especially if you expect it occur. I guess the best piece of advice I can give you is, no matter what happens, don't be scared. It is just in your head. If you get scary hallucinations, just remember they can't hurt you, and actually try to sit back, relax, and try to enjoy them for what they are. As for scary dreams, just remember that you are always in control. Nothing can hurt you physically, and things in your dreams will only go as far as you let them.
