Anyways, I'm with lawilahd. My DILD technique is in my signature; I essentially stop at random points during the day to be aware. At these times I slow down as much as I can. Already I'm seeing a problem with combining techniques, as Yoshi's DILD method involves being casually aware all day, but mine is to be aware more intensely less of the time. That can't really be combined.
But see right there now there are two ways of basically doing the same technique. In Yoshi's tut he edited it later and added that people should start with doing sessions of 15-20min to get started. The purpose isn't to particularly combine methods just learn from one another, the combining of technique is just an expected side effect, among others. It also kind of seemed like you were trying to combine the same technique, it is the Awareness technique, you just do it differently, which is to be expected. I have combined MILD & WBTB w/ WILDing that uses anchors, my white noise, and also do meditation in the day that includes the Awareness technique; I always thought techniques were meant to be combined and refined as to learn what works best for oneself.
