Can't say it does. You seem more exerienced than myself, but I reccomend just urging yourself to become lucid. |

Often when I am in a non-lucid dream, but with awareness creaping into my conciousness slowly but surely, the dream will quickly become more interesting. I may be unwillingly chased, given delicious food, or a number of other things such as being surrounded by beautiful women. However, when the opportunity to become lucid arrives, I am distracted and my fuzzy logic goes along the lines of "If I were lucid I would be doing this anyway, there is no point." As a result the opportunity for lucidity has been passed up, and as I settle into lower awareness the beautiful women and delicious food disappear, and I go into a dream I would gladly exchange for a lucid. It almost seems like my mind is trying to lure me away from a lucid and then rub it in my face afterwards, but I'm trying to make it into a lesson to become lucid whenever the chance arises even if the non-lucid seems good enough as is. Does this happen in anyone else's dreams? |

I will sometimes let the dream narrative play out if it seems like something interesting. Those tend to be my favorite dreams. |

It's strange how my subconcious dosen't seem to want me to be lucid. Just the other night a wave hundreds of feet tall was coming at me. I remembered that waves only got that tall in my dreams, and started a reality check. However, right when I was about to pinch my nose, the wave hit me ending it and my realization of the dream went with it. |

Lucid Dreaming since 3/30/10
I recently had a dream where I became lucid and just commented on some detail (to be precise I said that the fluidity of scene transition is very well done and you'd have to be very aware to notice) and then just let the dream keep working on its own. Might be related to me not having any overwhelmingly interesting ideas recently. |
