hello!, i just started out trying to get lucid dreams i have a dream journal and im at the point where i can remember most of my dreams but only little bits of each one. i havent had a lucid dream yet but sometimes in my dreams i will know im dreaming but i cant control anything.. im just watching myself do things and i know im dreaming the whole time. is that a step? or is there something i have to do to be able to control my dreams, also should i be remembering everything about all my dreams? because i only remmber fragments and sounds. any tips will help thanks!. |

Just keep focusing on your recall everyday, and choose a technique you will stick with. If you think the technique isn't working, at least keep at it for about a month, and then you can switch to another one. Good luck! |

If you know you're dreaming while you're in the dream, you ARE having a lucid dream. The problem is, lucid dreaming doesn't necessarily mean dream control--dream control is a separate skill you'll have to learn. It comes with practice, just like LDing. You might try visualization or verbal commands to start with and see if that helps any. |
