Parkour (free running) in a dream.

Last night in my dream I was doing parkour and chasing somebody at the same time.
Parkour is awesome while being lucid, you move so smoothly while doing everything, it's amazing.

I recommend for you to try it.
      Has anyone tried it before?

Unfortunatly not, at least not in a lucid. Had it in a few non-lucids but wasn't really able to enjoy it due to me thinking it's normal inside of the dreams.

But it's one of those things I want try in a lucid probably along with flying.

I do this sometimes and it's really amazing
It's even cooler if you turn to slow-motion when you are in the air! I wish that I could have such a flow and stamina in the real world...
Sometimes I even do it to practice the movements for RL.

I do random bits of parkour in loads of my non-lucids, i have yet to do it in a lucid though.
It was awesome cause my body felt like it was weightless so i could lift myself up and lower myself down over ledges etc so easily!

I love lucid parkour. It's been a while since I've done it, but it's so much fun. I love the feeling of weightlessness, too, when doing it. I like to do Jackie-Chan style moves - like kicking up from small ledges and things to scale up walls - and running/jumping from rooftop to rooftop, high over city streets. I remember one dream where I was lucid and my daughter was tagging along with me while we dashed across the rooftops in a big city, leaping 100ft gaps with ease. So awesome.

I once had a dream when I was still at school, where I was being chased by these two boys. It was at lesson time, so there was barely anyone in the hallways.
As they chased me from the schoolyard into the hallways, it got intresting. I ran on walls for like 20 meters, jumped onto objects getting higher and higher running on these metal bars at the ceiling. And as they got to me I was doing awesome non existant martial art counters. Untill they completly catched up with me and a third joined the party I couldn't keep countering and I got beaten up.

Well it should be obvious from the replies. Put it in simple terms you're going from one point to another. The twist, you don't just walk the streets. You use everything you find and deem fitting to get forward, jumping from roof to roof, walljumps, climbing buildings etc.

Oh man, I haven't ever done it in a Lucid, but I really want to if I get the chance. I have done it loads in non-lucids, and I always wake up pumped and excited after it.

@Mooseantlers, Parkour is getting from point A to point B as efficiently as possible, similarly freerunning is getting from point A to point B while looking as pretty as possible (A.K.A. while doing unnecessary, but fancy tricks and flips in the process).
To expound, both Parkour and Freerunning involve learning abilities such as running across/up walls, falling long distances, vaulting over obstacles efficiently, etc. etc.

EDIT: StaySharp, that game is awesome....

EDIT2: PARKOUR IS NOT THE SAME AS FREERUNNING! Just getting that out there, another peeve of mine. Parkour is focused on safety and efficiency, freerunning is not. They both get allot of flack thanks to the later, thus why it is a peeve when people mix the two.

I do le parkour for real as well =) But in my dreams I can push the limits, by jumping from heights you will normally die from or doing impossible or just hard flips.
So when I am about to do something scary for real, it's nothing compared to what I have already done, so it's a good way to gain confidence, but unfortunately, I don't have enough lucid dreams to be able to do that very often. But hopefully someday I will.

Parkour in Sweden is a mix of the traditional parkour and free running, so it differs from country to country.

I agree it's awesome, the music as well. I must admit though I haven't really played it yet...
But thinking about it, that might actually be another way of getting awareness into dreams, given you dream about parkour sometimes. I guess I'll try it along with some other games and try to maintain my awareness, see if I can get it over into my dreams.
