The idea is great, though you're generally told to have a 6 hour sleep (rather than 4) and then wake up and consume something with caffein. This idea has already existed for awhile, and is described in the book Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen LaBerge (I very often refer to this book, as it sets the very baseline and more for lucid dreaming). Difference is, people use coffee rather than a drink. If I'm not mistaken, it's even called CILD? (don't you just love these funny names!). |
