I have a thought. It may be way off base. Is she involved with a paticular religion? Some peoples beliefs tell them that anything "super natural" is from the devil, or related to evil things. You must admit that to some people lucid dreaming will sound very super natural. I often wonder why some members used to get angery and hostile on threads about shared dreaming and such. I guessed that for a small group of them, it was important to truely believe there is nothing super natural about it, so it could still fit in there belief system.
If I am not 10 miles off base here, you could make a point of selectively explaining LDing. Leave out anything that you believe, that could be taken as magical. Start a conversation where you tell her, you read a bunch of stuff saying that it is all just a function of certain neurons and 100% scientifically explainable as just strange dreams, not anything truely bazar. I am not flat out telling you to lie to her. Just decide if that may be her problem, and if it is, make sure she thinks you believe nothing mystical is going on, even if you do.
      Spyguy and fOrceez like this.
Peace Be With You. Oh, and sure, The Force too, why not.

Nice one, good thing that almost everything in LD is actually scientifically explainable. You aim to activate the brain's logic centre without disrupting REM. The only thing that isn't so easy to explain is shared dreaming, but hey, that's not the same as lucid dreaming. All you need to do is not bring up that little topic. Even if it happens to come up, tell her you don't do that. It's probably not even a lie
