      Returning technique?

      Hi everybody!

I want to ask you about, wich technique you think that I should use, for returning to lucid dreaming.

It might be a good idea to tell you that, I have been doing lucid dreams for about 9 months, but I took a break for about 4-5 months. So what do you recomend for a "advanced noob"?

As soon as possible, go back to sleep. Usually when I have just had a lucid dream, it is very easy to return. Declare that you want to be where you were in the previous dream and state the place with clarity and assertion. It should take you back. However, if you pass from lucidity into regular dreaming the experience may not be as enlightening...especially if the sub-concious takes over and brings into the dream residual life stuff.

Lucid dreaming is best when our egos are not inflated. It is not a competition. It is as natural as breathing. Just allow it to happen and don't get caught up in other peoples techniques...find your own way.

Do you mean something like DEILD? It is risky. You risk falling asleep and losing the memory of the dream.

Well, what have you used before? DILD or WILD? Did it work for you? Did you use all available techniques - RCs, awareness, mantras, WBTB...? How is your recall? Do you feel like waking up in the middle of the night to WBTB?

If you were successfull with your previous practice, I would continue doing that. If not, examine why and check which other technique would be easier to do. Happy dreams

Once again sorry for very late answer I get your answers when I'm sleeping so I didn't think that someone answer xD
Well I used some sort of a mix of DILD and WBTB last time, and it was the best technique that I've tried. It didn't deliver many lucids tho . My dream recall is kinda poor atm, just about one dream per night.
I'm trying SSILD atm, so I gotta see how it works
