Another question: If you induce sleep paralysis at 8am (Wild). |

~Let's say most of the people have around 4-7 dreams each night. |

I can see you sleep through your bedroom window. You're killing yourself with lucid dreaming.

Yes it is possible to have lucid and non lucid dreams and forget them. Although with lucid dreams more people tent to remember then because they wake up after and are excited they had one. It sounds like you probably started falling back to sleep, maybe a WILD might have been easy but its hard to tell. Im not sure about SP being less scary in the morning, hopefully someone more knowledgable will come along. |

From what i've heard SP is what you make of it, if you want it to be scary it will be, if you want it to be a good experience it will be. It also depends how confident you feel, im sure there would be more confidence throughout the daylight though as long as you think positively. Also what you experienced I think I may have experienced a few days ago, was you really tired when you laid down? Because I accidentally set my alarm when it happened and I woke up to turn it off and went back to sleep and my right side which I don't normally do and I felt really drained so I went to sleep and opened my eyes before I just got to sleep and I heard something like talking on TV and I thought it was a bit early for my TV to be on so I just thought to myself for some reason I want the talking on the TV to speed up and it did I thought it was pretty weird I got slightly worried and tried to move and I felt very heavy, but once I finally moved I felt light again, also 2 nights before that I had sort of the same experience but it was with my chair and it looked like it transformed but my eyes were blurry and I couldn't see properly, was this similar to your experience? I too would like to know what it was I experienced. |

I took a nap before and had SP for I believe a few seconds. Im not sure though...could of been a dream state of having SP. I can never get into SP...even when meditating on it. I had it happen a few times when I was younger, but nothing I can do on my own. Robert A. Monroe says its the forrunner step too having an OBE if you believe in that stuff. SP is when you're mind is awake, but your body is still alseep. Outside of audio/vision you won't be able to move your body much at all...or in most cases just at all. You'll be like in a temporary frozen state. Nothing to worry about...you'll eventually wake up within a few minutes or someone can wake you up. If you decide to let your mind drift back to sleep...its a great chance to get into a Lucid by concentrating on having a Lucid Dream. |

Hi Crashyy! You will get varying opinions on SP. as far as I am concerned the heavy feeling is the start of the SP process. You can almost alwaus break SP by effort and will so even if it is true SP you will be able to move on purpose, with effort. Only people with a medical problem can mot break SP if they are aware and awake enough. |

Sivason is correct. If I wake up at 6/7/8AM. Stay up for an hour or even two and go back to bed (sometimes I have a banana) for mornining nap. I find myself able to near semi-lucid or at least have real vivid non-lucid dreams. Its pretty cool. For me having vivid meaningful dreams that are realistic is just as acheiving as LDing. You dont always have to be Lucid (conscious) in your dreams to really take them in. Its the useless bizarre or pointless fuzzy low level dreams I try to avoid, and the stupid nightmareish ones. The ones we all seem to get the most argh. |
